The Day I Met You (A Dana Vaughns Fanfic)

Chapter 4

      Destinee's pov

Last night I couldn't sleep at all thinking about what Hanna would say. But why am I worried she is my best friend she wouldn't get mad at me just because of this stupid contest. I decided that I would call her when I got out the shower and got dressed.

After all that was done I turned on my phone and I noticed I had 3 text messages for none other than....Dana.

Dana: Good morning sleeping beauty.

Dana: Are u still sleeping?

Dana: Text me back when u wake up princess.

I just texted him back and said "Hey dana."

Dana: Our manager wants to know if you can come to the studio and lay down some vocals.

Destinee: Yea I can do that. What time?

Dana: around 3

Destinee: okay see ya then

After I got done texting dana I think it was time to call...hanna.

       Hanna's pov

I was waiting for that call yesterday but I never got it! Maybe they just forgot. Or maybe someone already won. I know that destinee didn't win cause I saw hers and she wasn't all that good anyway.

I heard my phone ringing and it was Destinee. Omg I bet she is calling cause she is sad that she didn't win. Awwww poor thing.

         (Phone convo)

Hanna: Hey Des! What's up?

Destinee: Hey I wanted to call and tell you about the contest thing yesterday!

Hanna: omg don't tell me! You didn't win? OMG I'm so so sorry. And I saw your video and you did amazing. Why wouldn't they pick you!?

Destinee: wait slow down hanna. I called to tell you that I did win!!

Rage was going through my body I felt my blood boiling! Why did she have to win! I always win at everything we both do! I am better than her. Those judges need there freakin ears checked!

Destinee: Hello? Hanna? Are u still there?

Hanna: yes I'm still here...

Destinee: So what do you think?

Hanna: I think they made a simple mistake.

Destinee: what do you mean?

Hanna: I think they got my video and your video mixed up. But the real winner is me! I always win and you always lose and that's the way I want it to be.

Destinee: Excuse me but do you hear yourself right now! You are sounding like a inconsiderate piece of crap!

Hanna: No you are the piece of crap just look in the mirror boo boo. This is my time to shine. And you won't take that away from me.

Destinee: well then....since I'm a piece of crap why would dana kiss me?

Hanna: ............

Destinee: that's what I thought

SHE HUNG UP! Ugh I want her gone. I can't believe this I wanted to win. I wanted dana to fall for me! I am gonna try my best to make her singing career a living nightmare.

          Destinee's pov

Ugh I thought she would be happy for me! But I guess things happen for a reason. I'm glad I got to see her true colors. I could care less if I'm friends with her I can make new friends. Speaking of friends I have to go to the studio. I ran downstairs grabbed a snack and rushed out the door.

        *At the studio*

"Hey guys" you say while walking in the studio.

"Hey" they all say in unision.

"So the song that I have for you is called "Just a little bit of your heart" and will be your first single to put out and we will see if people like it" my managed said really excited.

"That sounds perfect"I say while going to record the song. (A/n: the song just a little bit of your heart is by ariana grande so just pretend it's destinees song)

The music starts to play and I start to sing.

"I don't ever ask you where you've been and I don't feel the need to know who your with I can't even think straight but I can't tell that you were just with her and I'll still be a fool I'm a fool for you"

     *after recording the song*

After I was done. I saw everybody in the room had there mouths wide open. I just spoke into the mic and said "was it that bad?"

Dana came into the recording Booth and said "no it was beautiful. Everybody loved it"

"Thanks dana!" I said while smiling

I turned around and I noticed that every one left the room so it's just me and dana. I turn my attention back to him and he is just staring at me.

"Is there something on my face?" I say while wiping my face

Dana grabbed my hand and held it and just stared into my eyes. I could have sworn I feel butterflies all in my stomach. Dana just kissed me. I was in shock at first but I kissed back. When dana pulled away he smiled at me then kissed my forehead and left the room. I just touched my lips and they felt tingly.

Let me tell you now. Dana's lips were so soft. I don't know why but....I think I'm falling for dana....
