The Day I Met You (A Dana Vaughns Fanfic)

Chapter 9

Dana's pov

I woke up this morning to my manager Jacob calling me.

"Hello?" I said in my morning voice

"Dana Hello. So I wondering if you wanted to stop by the office today and have a quick meeting with everyone."

"Yea uh what time?" I said rubbing my eyes

"Around 12. See you then Dana." He said then hung up

Well it's 8 now I might as well start getting ready.

Destinee's pov

Jacob my manager called me this morning to come by later for a 'meeting'. I wonder what this meeting is about? OMG what if he going out about me and Dana's dates!!!! I just shook that thought out of the way.

I looked at the clock and it was 9 so I had time to get ready and hopefully go to Starbucks. Yea you caught me I love Starbucks. But who doesn't? I walked into the bathroom and did my routine I do every morning.

Once I got out the shower I put on a pink maxi halter dress and some white wedges. (Outfit in the thing in the beginning. I don't know what it's called lol) For my makeup I put on some pink everything. I love pink what can I say! I walked downstairs and greeted my dad.

"Hey Daddy! How are you?" I said

"Hello. I'm great! So where are you off to?" He questioned.

"Oh I have a meeting with Jacob." I said while grabbing my purse and car keys.

"Alright well have fun" he said while kissing my forehead.

I walked out the door and into my red Honda civic! I got this car on my 16th birthday.

I walked into the place that is my happiness and that place is Starbucks. I aroma in the place is so wonderful.

"Hi. How may I help you sweet thing" the guy at the register said.

"Hi. Can I have a vanilla bean frappe double blended please?" I asked sweetly

"Sure anything for a beautiful girl" he said while winking at me

I just rolled my eyes and he told me "4.95 was my total" so I paid this annoying douchebag and walked to sit at a table waiting for the drink.

I was on my phone texting my baby...yea you guessed it...Dana. Turns out we both have to be at the studio for a meeting at 12. I then heard someone say something.

"Hi um do you mind if I sit here?" She asked.

She had light brown skin, dark brown eyes, and dark brown curly hair. She seemed like a really sweet girl.

"Sure! Have a seat!" I told her

"Thanks! I'm Arlene" she said

"I'm Destinee. It's nice to meet you" I said

"You to" she said smiling

My order was called so I got up to get it.

"Thanks." I said to that annoying guy who was hitting on me

"No problem. So how about the digits?" He said

"No thank you! And I have a boyfriend. Toodles!" I said walking away back over to my seat.

"That guy was so desperate" Arlene said when I sat down.

"Yea he really was. And for crying out loud I have a boyfriend. I'm loyal." I said

"Yea that cool. So tell me about yourself." Arlene asked.

"Okay well my name is Destinee Monroe I am an only child. My boyfriend is Dana Vaughns from the heart throb group IM5. I am an upcoming recording artist myself. My favorite color is pink and yea that's all I guess" I said smiling

"Omg! Im5 are you serious! OMG you are beyond freakin lucky." She said almost screaming

"Well thank you! And he is a sweetheart and so are the other boys. So tell me about you." I said

"My name is Arlene I love to make people laugh. I can be tough when I have to put I'm mostly a girly girl but sometimes a tomboy. And I love your song Just a little bit of your heart. It's amazing" he said

"Awww thank you. Well it's kinda late and I have a meeting so I will see you next time. Here is my number maybe we could chill sometime" I said

"Yes of course that would be great" she said

I gave her a hug and then went on my way to the studio.

Hanna's pov

Destinee told me to meet her at the studio cause after us 'besties' are gonna go for dinner. Yay! Note the sarcasm. When I arrived there I saw Jacob her manager at sitting down. And I also saw....Dana omg he is beautiful. We belong together not Destinee and Dana.

Destinee's pov

"Hey guys!" I said and sat next to dana.

They all said Hey. And dana being the best boyfriend he is gave me some flowers. Pink roses my favorite. "Thank you dana these are beautiful!" I said hugging him

"Anything for you princess" he said while I blushed.

He kissed my forehead and then we got interrupted by....Hanna.

"Okay okay enough with this mushy love fest." She said kinda annoyed.

What's her problem? I thought to myself

"So we have good news for you Destinee!" Jacob said

"And that is?" I said smiling

"You will be doing your first ever music video to Just a little bit of your heart!" He said

I screamed and hid my face in Dana's chest cause I was crying! I have always wanted this opportunity and I finally got it!

"Thank you thank you omg this is amazing!" I said

Dana just pecked my lips and whispered in my ear "I'm so proud of you!" He said and I kissed him while everyone was shouting "awwws" but one person said "ewwwww" and that person what Hanna.

Hanna's pov

When I saw Dana kissing HER I wanted to slide over the table and smack her across the face for stealing my man! Why couldn't it have been me!??
