Tales of a Teenage Superhero Rebirth

Introduction

The void of my room almost consumed me. The cardboard boxes all filled with my belongings had become almost my kin at this point, for they have been there for a week.  Yes it was true that's I'd soon be leaving my small beloved town but with my father's work always deciding where to go, I am quite used to leaving behind the past and looking forward to a brighter, more exciting future.
A small yet very strong glow rose from my small jewelry box by my bed. The beautiful diamond earrings, necklace, and ring were given to me by Father. He worked several days to handcraft it just right.
I walk to the illuminated, wooden box and open it. I slowly take out the jewelry and put it on. Then, all the sudden a familiar bright teal flash appeared. The light faded to show my small, magical, grey wolf-like companion, Zev.

"Greetings, Lauri. How may I be of your service today?" my small floating friend said as she swarmed around my head and landed on my shoulder.

"I think I want to take one last run through town before moving. Can you handle that Zev?"

"Just say the words!"

" Zev, Time to prowl!"

  Zev then turned into the teal light from before and flew into my body, possessing my internal being. Then in one swift move my turquoise tank top and skirt turned into a grey pleather one piece suit, my hair extending, representing a tail, and two hair pins that look like wolf ears. I finally put on my mask and jumped out the window.

Before hitting the hard concrete, a translucent plasma road appears beneath my shiny boots allowing me to run mid air. I look around my small town once more. I can't believe it...I'll never see my home again.
After an hour of me recklessly running around town, I finally return to my comforting room. Tomorrow is going to be quite a long day.
