I grow fatigued. The plane ride to my new home in Paris, France was the worst way to start a new life. On the plane there were two babies constantly crying and wailing to be fed, changed, etcetera and a man next to me was only inches away from drooling over my shoulder. Thankfully I only had one hour left of this living hell to deal with before we got off the plane. Within this time the only reasonable thing to do would be to study more French language but I really didn't need to considering after 3 months of preparing I am almost fluent in it.
Father and I finally exited the plane. He also looked very exhausted and I could very faintly see dark circles forming under his eyes. The poor man works to hard to go through everything he does. I look down at my ring and smile knowing well that he does love me even if he may not show it.
Finally getting out of the airport and taxiing our way to our new home. Taking a deep inhale of the new aromas that filled the house, I soon began to rummage around searching for which room would soon become mine. My father on the other hand walked to the small couch that already was in the small yet comforting home and laid down to get some rest.
A sense of fear soon washed over me minutes after claiming my room. I would have to start school in a few days...
