Chapter Thirty- Six

"A-Avril?", I asked frozen.

He came closer and stopped when he was a few inches away from me.

"You're Avril aren't you?"

Come on April tell him the truth. Don't lie to him this time. Tell him.

"I-I ... Yeah", my voice came more like a whisper. "I'm Avril", I confessed.

"I know", he said "I just wanted you to admit it", I looked up and saw him smiling.

"For how long?"

"Since the first day", he said. "But the day you came looking for this", he said opening his hand up and showing me my lost pearl. "I was sure its you", he smirked.

I gasped and picked my pearl out of his hands. "So you did have this?" I asked surprised.

He nodded with a smug look on face. "Yup."

"But April seriously the best name you could think of was Avril?" He smirked.

I playfully rolled my eyes a smile fighting my lips.

"When you're in a situation like that you can't think of anything", I defended myself.

He smirked "What type of situation?"

"When you're in front of the guy you love", I said as if it was nothing.
But it was something. I covered my mouth, my eyes wide.

He pumped his fist into the air and grinned. "Finally", he said.

I looked down and blushed. I'm sure I was redder then a tomato. I then felt him pinch my cheeks and say "Aww you look cute when you blush", now that just made me blush even more.

"Wanna push me on the swing?" I asked changing the topic.

"Do you want me to go harder and faster?" He asked. My eyes widen.

"Aaron", I whined.

"Chill I was joking", he said, pushing me as I sat on the swing.

"Okay, I think I'm quite high, so you can stop now", I said. I felt him stop and sit down on the swing next to me. Legs on either side of the swing.

"Hey April?"

"Hmm."

"You never got to answer my question yet", he said.

I stopped swinging and looked at him confused. "What question?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

I pretended to think.

"Umm."

He nodded for me to continue. Hope in his eyes.

"Yeah."

"Yess", he jumped and hugged me. I chuckled and guided my arms around his back, until they rested on his shoulder blades. I inhaled his minty scent and let myself get comfortable.
Hugging your boyfriend is literally the best thing ever. God it feels good to call him my boyfriend. Finally!

"April I need to tell you something", Natalie said.

I nodded for her to continue.

"Matt umm asked me out", she blurted. I looked at her with wide eyes. "That idiot finally manned up?"

"So you knew everything?"

"I mean yes it was pretty obvious. I always wanted to play Cupid when it came to you two."

She laughed.

I smiled. "I'm so happy for you", I said pulling her into a bone crashing hug.

I unlocked my house door and got in taking of my shoes. I dropped my bag down at the couch and walked inside the kitchen. After having a glass of water I walked back inside the living room and grabbed my bag. I was about to turn around when I noticed someone siting down at my couch. My bag dropped from my hands.

"W-Who are you?" I asked taking a step back.

The guy in front of me smirked.

"Well hello April."

"I asked you a question", I snapped.

"Who the fuck are you?"

He smirked. "The one and only.... Alex."
