"Anastasia dear, let us in. We still need to talk." Christina said through the door.

"There is literally nothing else for us to talk about. You've told me what you needed to say and now I need some time alone." I yell back.

I don't understand how they can, one minute not tell me anything but the next minute, drop the bomb.

First of all, my real mom died and no one told me.

Second of all, my dad hooked up with my moms best friend after she died because they both didn't want me to "grow up without a mom". Makes no sense at all.

"Please Anastasia, just let us in."

"Not going to happen mother."

At this moment, I don't even know what I'm going to do.

Well I only have one choice.

I'm going to run away.

I don't know when but I will.

Tonight. When I go to meet up with Calum, I'll tell him everything that is happening and maybe he can help. I just have to wait a few more hours.

11:45pm

Well, time for me to leave.

Let's see, I've packed my bag with the things I'll need.

I've got my phone and charger, clothes to last me about a week and money for a bus ticket or something.

"Goodnight Anastasia, hopefully we can talk in the morning " Karen says through the door.

I sit and wait for the door to her bedroom to close. That's when I'll make my move.

At this point, I have two choices. I can either climb out my window but god knows I can't do anything like that for my life or I can very carefully sneak downstairs and walk out through the door.

Looks like I'm sneaking out the window.

Where is he?

I sat down and leaned against the tree.

That is until two arms grabbed me from behind.

"Let go!" I say as I twist around to see Calum laughing.

"Dick." I mumble before throwing some leaves at him, "Calm down there." He says and I sigh, "We need to talk about things." I say.

"That totally isn't the reason why I left you a message. Well, there is another reason..." Calum says as he looks over to me, "Um, no." I say as I push him away.

"Well what is it?" He asks me and I tell him the story.

Of how Karen isn't my real mom to me wanting run away.

"You little shit, you can't just run away now!" Calum says and I frown, "Why not?" I ask and he smirks, "You want them to feel your pain, they're probably expecting it right now. Run away at the least unexpected time ever. Make them feel the way you do right now." He says, "Good point." I say as I lean back against the tree.

"Besides, the project?" He asks me and I smile, "Finally, someone is thinking about school." I say and Calum smirks, "School is done in a month. Graduation day, we'll run." He says.

I smile, "We'll?" I ask him and he looks over at me, "You're not the only one who has been lied to." He says and I bite my lip.

"You're so different from other girls, Ana." He says and I frown, "What does that mean?" I ask him, "Its good that you're different. I get tired of sluts sometimes." He says and I laugh.

"Now come on, now that we're here we should start studying." I say but Calum isn't listening, "Look." He says as points to the sky.

"An infinity sign." He says as he points at the stars.

"Tonight is such a beautiful night." I say as I lay down next to him.

"Let's remember this moment. The day you became a badass." Calum says and I smile at him.
