"Kay come on you already look good." Ava said rushing me
"Av I'm not about to go in there with a stranger looking any kind of way! I just want to make sure my lashes are still in tact." I told her pushing my eyelash back up.
"No, your trying to stall on me! Come on Kay you look good pleaseeee it's already 12:35 we 5 minutes late and you know I hate begin late for anything!" she whined
"Okay okay. Come on" grabbing my phone and purse I got out the car closing the door. I finally caught up to ava who was walking like she was in a marathon.
"Vee is sooo fineeee. So ready to see him." She said bitting her lip.
"I hope this cousin of his is too."
"Psshttt. Vee fine so I know it runs in his bloodline, baby girl." she said with a Side twerk
We finally made it to the restaurant doors. Walking in I was hit with the smell of seasoning and I heard loud noses and looked around to find out they had an arcade room to the side.
"There they go Kay come on!" Ava said pulling my hand.
We walked to the table where two boys were sitting down . I guess Davonee was the who pulled av into a hug and kissed her check and handed her a rose.
The other one sat slumped in a chair, scrolling away on his device.

"Bro their they go, get off your phone and when shorty friend come over here be nice!" Vee said standing up
"I am Bro damn ."
Just then 2 girls walked up to the table, I'm guessing the one that vee handed the rose too was the shorty he been talking too. The other one was fine as a motherfucker no cap. Shorty looked like she belonged in a magazine.
"Hey, I'm Ja'kayci everyone Calls me kay or Kayci." The fine one said to me.
"Nice to meet you. I'm guessing your Kash?" She asked sitting across from me.
"Kash Pierre Hamilton. That's me"
"This place looks nice. I've never been here before." She said looking around.
"You haven't ma? Where you from?"
"I'm from here. I just don't get out much."
We talked for a little while, basically about nothing.
Shorty fine she just seems a little too quiet for me. I don't know was she shy or what. I said to myself. See me I'm used to the loud ghetto girls. After talking a little more I got bored .
"Oh okay. Holdup I'll be right back" I said sitting up from the table to find vee because I was bored and plus I had a booty call waiting on me.
"Vee lemme holler at you right quick Brody." I said grabbing his shoulder and pulling him.
"What man, wtf!"
"Let's go! I'm ready to go." I said in a whispered tone.
"Why?"
"I'm bored that's why."
"Go talk to Ava's friend."
"I did and shorty boring, her name Kayla or some shit she's bad tho."
"Did you try to go give her a chance? She don't know you that's maybe why she seems boring. Walk around order some food and go play a couple games." He said looking me in my face.
"I'll try, but if shorty gets boring again I'm calling an Uber and leaving." I said pointing in his face.
"Yeah yeah, gone on."
I walked back to the table with Kayla.
"Say Kayla you trying to get some grub or go play some games?"
"It's kayci and sure."
We called over an waitress and ordered some food. After we ate we walked around and played a couple of games. Shorty was tearing my ass up in fruit ninja.
"Man this cheating ass game."
"Now now why so hostile?" She asked laughing. Shorty was fine and had a pretty smile,now that I couldn't lie about.
"I think I see vee and 'em." I told her
We walked back over to the table that we were originally sitting at.
"Hey Kayci you bout ready to go?" Ava asked shorty.
"Yeah sure." She said grabbing her things.
Me and vee helped them with their things. We got outside and headed for Their car since we parked a little close to each other. Vee and Ava lagged behind.
Me and kayci walked in silence to their car. Not a uncomfortable silence ,but a good one like we were both thinking.
"Nice meeting you Mr.KP." Kayci spoke once we reached the car. By this time Ava and vee had caught up and Ava was getting into the car as well.
"You too, miss kayci." I said back with a smirk. After they got settled me and vee went to the car and drive home.
It was just something about her... what it was I don't know.
