The Dream and The Shadow

May was having a wonderful dream of creatures running around the island and it was surrounded by other realms that they must have also brought to life, but then she saw something from the corner of her eye a dark malevolent shadow. Before she could get a better look or try to figure out what that thing was she had woken up a bit confused. Then in her daze she looked around seeing her sisters still sleeping peacefully and nothing but the empty island. Her dream was on her mind, but she shrugged it off as just a mere image that ended up in her head as she slept.

May then decided to go explore a bit of the island, so that she could clear her mind a bit. She also made sure not to go too far from her siblings. So that she may return to her sisters before they awake and notice her absence. She then proceeded to get up and go looking around. May took a path walking down it and making sure to take note on what she saw so that she could get back to her family later. While walking down the path she had seen many different things such as strange plants, trees of all sizes and sizes, but she also felt their magic that flowed through the air into the island's land.

May was confused why she could feel a lot of magic from the island, but then she soon realized that maybe it's because this place just might be more special once created after all it was the first thing her sisters and herself ever made. While she was deep in thought she didn't realize there was a presence watching her until she turned around and cast a defence spell to protect herself only to find nothing there.  

"Strange, I could have sworn there was someone or something watching me," she thought to herself a little confused.

"It was probably nothing, but my mind playing tricks on me," she said in her mind.

May then proceeded to go on her way just a bit further down the path and then head back to her sisters. As she walked she thought of her dream she had earlier.

"Its strange now that I think about it, but that presence felt like that creepy shadow in my dream even if I only briefly seen it. I just know it was bad news and I just hope we can stop it if it tries anything dangerous like attacking our creations or us for that matter" she voiced her thoughts out loud.

May then had a bad feeling and turned around running back the way she came to her sisters as fast as she could. As she ran she heard a scream that's when the adrenaline kicked and she used her speed to get to her sisters as quick as lightning.  Once she got to her sisters she saw the shadow trying to attack her siblings, so she conjured a ball of light and blasted the thing. After the ball of light hit the shadow it disappeared, but May knew it will be back she just doesn't know when.

May looked to her sisters and asked, "Is everyone alright?"

All 3 sisters looked up replying, "Yes"

Molly asked, "Where were you?"

May replied, "I wanted to go explore for a bit, but I can see it was a mistake because you almost got hurt by that bad presence. I knew I should of stayed until you all woke up then we could have went exploring together and then finished what we were gonna do. I'm really sorry-"

Leyla cut her sister off by saying,  "Hey its alright May it wasn't your fault you didn't know we were gonna get attacked don't be sorry if anything we should be thanking you for saving us from that shadow."

May looked up at Leyla to see the honesty in her eyes then looking to her other two sisters for conformation and when she saw them nod she ran to them giving them all a hug.

May told them all in a muffled voice, "I'm glad you're all okay. I love you sisters."

Her sisters smiling saying, "We love you too."

When they all pulled away from their hug fest May could tell they wanted to tell her something. May gave them the same look because she remembered that they weren't done creating yet.

May asked, "Okay, what do you all want to tell me? Because I also have something to tell."

Julianna said,  "Yes we all have something to tell you, and if I'm correct it has something to do what we saw in our dreams. right?"

They all looked at her not even a bit surprised that she knew what they were thinking. They all nodded at her and then began to tell each other about their dreams of the species that were on the island and the realms. And come to find that they each got a glimpse of the shadow in their dreams, before they all had woken up. They all decided to keep caution in case the shadow comes back and still proceed as plan to create what was in their dreams together. Also May had told her sisters about the island being special, so this place will be the source of all magic and if something were to happen to it all would be lost.
