"Shhh, if anyone hears us we're dead. You know they picked us specifically for this task" I do agree though, but only silently, I can't let him know I agree or he will act on that. Ugh, this kid.
"Fine let's just get this over with"Leon
Leon and I were selected from our class to assist on espionage for the Local sheriff. I don't understand why we're helping track down the guy who stole one hundred bucks from the gas station. Apparently it is supposed to help us "learn how to collect information". Thats what the sheriff said anyway when he selected us.
"Are you kids done" Sheriff white.
"Yes sir" Leon
"He was just spotted heading into a cabin by forest lake"
"Alright, thank you kids. I believe that your duties have come to an end. Now go home you have finals tomorrow" Sheriff white.
"Thank you sheriff" Leon
"Yeah, thanks"
I walk out of there, trying to remember what's on the final tomorrow when Leon stops me.
"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies with me on Saturday" Leon asked, obviously scared.
"Yeah sure" I said stepping into my car. I know he likes me, everyone tells me he does. I just, I don't know, I just don't think he's my type. I must have been driving for an hour before I realized a change. I didn't know what it was, but I felt something. I usually don't because of the whole highway hypnosis thing they tell you about.
"Hey ma, i'm home" I yell, "Ma". Thats weird, she's always home before six, it's 8:37. "Ma"
I step outside and everything is changed.
I realize now that the feeling I had before was not fake.
This is very much real.
This is crazy.
