Silence

Silence, complete silence.

Outside in the world, and inside me.

I'm hollow.

I look up, at the sky. It is white, like a fresh piece of paper. I know that the sky is white all the time, but not like this. Usually when the sky is white the birds keep chirping, but they aren't. I thought for a second that I went deaf. Until I heard the bang, it sounded like a gunshot. Except the second it happened the sky turned black. I look down at my watch and it reads 9:40, the time the sun usually starts to set. It's like someone hit the night button, however it is darker than usual.

"Hello" 

I hear a random voice yelling, it sounds very deep and gravely. It made me realize how as well as the birds, the bustling sounds of our town had stopped.

"Hello, is anyone there"

I walk to the front of my house and look down my street. There is a man near my neighbors house

"Hello, darlin' are you a real person. Oh sweetheart" Says the voice walking towards me.

"Stay away please" I say as he starts to jog towards me. I start to run.

"No, come back sweetheart" I hear his voice right behind me, and then I feel him slam into my back.

"Ahhhhh, let me go" I scream, "Help me please"

"No sweetheart there is no-one else around to save you" He says as he lands his fist right on the back of my skull. The darkness starts to go even darker, I can feel myself getting dizzier and dizzier.

"Get off of her" says another voice, I feel the man lifted off of me. I hear a loud crunch, I don't want to think about what it is. Maybe I can't think about what it is everything is slowly slipping away. I feel someone lift me off the floor, I am too weak to fight them off whoever they are.

I give in to the invisible hand dragging me down into unconsciousness.

Then everything is dark.

Silence.
