Brothers Of The Moon : Chapter 17

~Nathan's POV~

Lyle and I made our way towards the dungeons of My COven Mansion , Where we kept the hybrid from all to see. We kept the secret to our council members only and to Lyle and his high ranked members as well. 

The last thing we need is a frantic population of supernatural beings around. Hybrids are considered rare , and is a sign of mutation. Genes are unstable , and that they are forced to the system of a person , human or not. There will always be side effects , and this is one of them , Hybrid mutation. This is caused when powerful bloods are forced into a weak system , the system will have a battle inside , that will cause the bloods to mix and bind together to create a single form , and that form of blood is called , in our society , The Blood Of Unpurity.

"Nathan .. So how is Elizabeth doing?" Lyle asked as I unlock the first metal door , out of three.

"Seriously ? At this time ? Ask now ?" HE chuckled at my stuttering. I sighed and ruffle his hair. "She has been great , and I made her happy , by the looks of it , I did a pretty great job in taking the coven to my own hands" 

"I know right ? , now our pack and your coven dont have their doubts that one of us will bite and become traitors" He walked and placed his hands inside his pockets. We walk in laughter and memories as We made our way to the last metal door.

"Here it is" I stated , opening the final door , only to reveal , four knights of mine positioned on every corner of the room , Two scientists trying to figure out the puzzle , that is , his blood , and who and what caused this. I was pretty shocked at first , when Lyle knew It was Schneider , but there is no doubt They followed us here in the human world again. They want Me and Lyle , and have the blood they always wanted. The Pure One ; as they call us.

"Ahh .. Meister Summers , Its a pleasure seing you back here again , Oh and /greetings to you as well Master Lyle" Godric , the head of the research , shook our hands and ushered us towards the silver lined cage. Being a hybrid it is , It also has the same weakness as us , Silver , but there is still something about it that took my mind out of the blues. Why was He running away when We caught him.

"Here It is" Godric stated , as We neared the cage.

"Please sir , call it a him , Even with his appearance and total person , He is still human , and has a name , we might as well consider to be generous to him , rather than treating him like a thing or a trash to be precise" Lyle stated. I shook my head in amusement. Lyle and His very Bright and Superior , Fair attitude.

"I..I ummm might as well return that though Master Lyle" Lyle smiled and faced the cage , where the hybrid sat on the far corner.

"Show yourself to me , Hybrid" Lyle's icy blue eyes , yurned to Amber. His original eye color was stormy blue when he turns to his Wolf , but not it seemed to change since He got the Whole Alpha power. Ahh .. Lyle and What amazes me.

The Hybrid Flinched at Lyle's authority, and tried to puch far more. "Dont Be afraid , Im here to help you" Lyle spoke.

"He is right , We wont lay a hand on you" I added. The Hybrid stood and walked towards us , slightly away from the bars but near enough for us to see him clearly.

His body was covered with black fur , and his muscles shown off the mower he can possibly have, His eyes were Pitch Black , as He breathed heavily. I pushed Lyle away for a bit as He TRied to reach us. It only took him a split of a second to do it , So I acted on incsticts and did it well. He is fast I must Say.

"Stay Down Hybrid !" Lyle's voice roared through the air , sending even my guards to step back. The Hybrid's eyes turn to its normal phase , I think.

"That's much better .. now Shift back to your human form and relax as we take care of you" Lyle's eyes stared at his as The familiar popping and turning of bones hit my ear , I looked away to distract myself from vomitting, Damn , I was glad I didnt have to deal with those.

Minutes Later , The Hybrid calmed down , giving us time to give him food and clothes to use."Tell us your name man , and why did you ran to our territory?" Lyle asked. He is really good at interogating I must say.

"T...T..Tory.." The man stuttered shakily. 

I leaned closer to Lyle and said."He has still to worn out his fear and calm up some more" Lyle nodded and took a step closer.

I stood there my arms crossed above my chest as I watch him interogate The Tory guy some more. I am pretty sure Lyle did a great job , cause for the next minutes , Tory calmed down and leaned closer to talk to Lyle.

I myself was very amazed at how He handled being a hybrid for the first time.If Lyle havent told him to shift back , He wouldnt have done it. Now the only question is ... Can He give us leads ? Or will He keep it from us ?
