It's 7:30 in the morning. The alarm is ringing in Krishna's room. He is in deep sleep but the alarm woke him. He got up cursing the alarm. He got out of the bed and went into the living room. He looked at the kitchen and saw no breakfast there. He was furious and angry. He marched into the other bedroom. Mukesh was sleeping in there. He is sleeping not caring about the world. Krishna removed the blanket which was on him.
"You idiot! Today's your turn to make breakfast".
Frustrated and sleepy Mukesh replied, "Go to hell".
"Come on dude, get up your lazy ass".
"Please bro, just make the breakfast for today. I will do it tomorrow and the day after. Please".
With a really angry voice, "We don't have office tomorrow and the next day".
"You are good at cooking. Stop wasting time and make breakfast already", and speaking that he went to sleep again.
Krishna just took the water bottle, opened it and spilled the water all over sleeping Mukesh. Mukesh's sleep just went to hell.
"Happy? Now go and do the breakfast", yelled Krishna. And he went out of the room to get ready.
Krishna came back to the kitchen after getting ready.
"Bread and Jam, seriously?", shouted Krishna after seeing them on the kitchen table. He tried to go barge into Mukesh's room. But the door was locked. Krishna started shouting at Mukesh through the door.
"Dude, I asked you to make breakfast. When did you even buy Bread and Jam?".
"I bought it on Wednesday".
"It's two days ago. So, that's not even fresh?".
"Jam don't expire that quickly".
"I'm talking about the bread, you idiot".
"There's no time now. You should have woken me up early".
Krishna being frustrated and tired of arguing went to the kitchen, checked the quality of bread and started putting Jam on it. Mukesh came out of his bedroom and started saying,
"Sorry dude, adjust for now. I will make it up to you for dinner".
Krishna just staring at Mukesh angrily and eating and said, "I hope you die in your sleep".
Mukesh replied, "Yeah, I sometimes hope the same".
And continued talking while bringing a chair towards Krishna, "Listen, you know Priya right? I mentioned her before".
"Who? That university girl?"
"Yeah, I'm thinking about asking her for lunch sometime".
"Why? She already has a boyfriend".
"Yeah, but I think they will break up".
"How do you know?"
"She is wondering whether he is right for her or not. I will just ask her to come to lunch, to share her issues. I will provide her, you know, some mental support".
"That doesn't sound like a date".
"Of course it's not a date dude. She already has a boyfriend".
"Then why the hell do you want to do that?"
"I make her think I'm helping her relationship but I'll put more doubts in her mind and break up that relationship. Then, eventually, she will become my girlfriend".
"You, the evil devil".
"Come on dude, what's wrong with me? I'm handsome. I have a good job. I don't smoke or drink. More importantly, I am funny".
