"So, is he coming?" asks Krishna.
"No", replies Zahira.
"Book Uber or something then".
"It's kind of an out of city area. You have a vehicle, right? Can you drop me?".
"Well...", drags the sentence thinking of an excuse to tell, "I have some work to do here".
Zahira looks at the PlayStation and points out, "You are playing video games".
"Yeah, but I'm on level 3 and game's just got interesting".
Zahira makes an angry "You got to be kidding me" face at Krishna.
Krishna after seeing that says, "But I don't want to go".
"Come on, you don't even know where we are going".
"Don't you have any other friend whom you can turn into a driver?"
"A beautiful girl is asking you to accompany her on a long drive on a weekend. What's your problem?"
"Firstly, "A beautiful girl"? That's debatable. Secondly, this is not a long drive. This is just a bike service you want for free".
"Consider this a favor to Pawan".
"Yeah, I don't really care so much about Pawan".
"Then consider this as repayment for breaking Aditi's heart".
"Breaking Aditi's heart?"
"Yeah, you refused to date her without a proper explanation. You know how many days she cried over you?"
"No, tell me".
After a moment of silence, "She didn't cry but she had a lot of anger and pain over you".
"Fine, where are we going?", takes his helmet and keys.
"Yes", exclaims in satisfaction, "We are gonna have so much fun".
"Doing what?"
"Painting".
"Painting?"
"I work for an NGO. We are painting some doodles and quotations on the walls of a school, you know, to boost the morale of students".
Krishna looks at her with confusion in her face.
"What?", asks Zahira.
"You do know you can just give money to a guy to do that work. I think that guy is known as a painter".
"We are an NGO. We do our own work and it's fun".
"But I'm not going to paint. I'm just gonna drop you there and Hasta la Vista".
"No, you have to. You are my ride back".
"You gotta be kidding me. I can't wait there for hours. Sorry. You have your friends there, find your ride back with one of them".
"Fine, just drop me there. See if you can have fun. If not, you can leave. I'll find my ride home".
Krishna starts going out. Zahira looks at his dress and comments, "You are coming in your shorts?"
"Yeah. Is that a problem for you?"
"No. No. Absolutely not. It looks fine", says Zahira with a little sarcastic smile.
Krishna thinks for a moment and goes back inside to change into jeans. He comes back and looks at Zahira angrily.
"I said it looks fine", says Zahira. "I just thought the weather is little chilly".
