It has been 2 years since he left me all by myself. I miss him so much. I miss those days we used to play together, those almond eyes, that voice, how it felt to hold him close to me, I miss all of them. I can't even forget the ki-

"RU ...TARU ...HOTARU !!!" Screamed momo

"Aaahhhh!!! What was that for??" Hotaru shouted back.

"I've been calling you since God knows when and you're just staring into a space?? I think I may need a cough syrup, all thanks to you!" Debated momo angrily.

"Oops! Sorry. Can you repeat what you were saying before?" Hotaru scratched he neck nervously.
"Hmm... Well I was saying that WE SHOULD GO TO CLASS CAUSE BELL RANG 5 MINS AGO!!" Shouted momo dragging Hotaru to their next class.

After some hours---

Hotaru's pov

*ring* *ring* *ring*

I was waiting outside the uni for momo. Where is she now ??
She saw momo come rushing towards her, " Sorry Hotaru! The teacher asked me to submit some papers. Now let's head towards the dorm". Said momo walking away.
Hotaru stopped her ," Umm... You go ahead. I'll visit the nearby shrine and come shortly after " and she walked away.
OK, now that was strange. Momo headed towards their dorm.

At the shrine---

It feels so good to come here again after so long. I started roaming near the forest.

This is the place where I first met him when I was 6. I inhaled the fresh air as a chilly breeze removed the hair which was covering my face smoothly.
On exploring more, I saw the place where I last saw him. All my memories started harassing me.

'That mask. Keep it'

That mask, where did I keep it?
I started searching for it in my bag. When I got it, I held it tightly to my heart and started sobbing for an unknown reason.

"You gave me something which is important to you. But, what am I to do with it when I know you'll never come back to me?" I slid down under a tree while sobbing silently. It's raining, I should go back.
I wiped away my tears myself. I hope he was the one to wipe these away.
I put the mask back inside and took out my umbrella and started to walk out of the shrine. I looked back once again. Bye Gin, I'll come again.

At the dorm---

"Momo! I'm home", said Hotaru while taking off her shoes and keeping them aside.
"Welcome. It's raining heavily outside. Take a bath and come downstairs to eat,
I've prepared your favourite ramen noodles." Says momo cheerfully.
"Oooh,okkkk!!!" Said Hotaru rushing upstairs to bathe.

After dinner(cause I'm too lazy😜 )

I prepared my bed and laid on it enjoying the softness underneath. But there was only one thing going on in my head.

I hope I could see you again, Gin~ as a tear rolled down my cheek.
