               Bubble was flipping pages of a recently bought magazine. No, she didn't get it, but her friend Match did. They recently got into a fight, so Match thought to make it up would give her a magazine full of dresses, makeup and other stuff. Bubble sighed softly, looking at the models. They were skinny, and she was chubby. None of those clothes would fit her. She closed the magazine and set it on the coffee table by her knees, and slumped down on the couch. She folded her hands together across her stomach, and tapped her fingers together whilst staring at the alliance bracelet she wore.

               Bubble looked over at the clock on her wall, seeing it was almost three o'clock. Three already? She hadn't even eaten lunch. She sat up and looked over to her kitchen. She bit the inside of her cheek, then looked over at her phone on the table. Maybe she should ring up someone. She didn't feel like eating by herself again. She picked her phone up and turned it on, greeted with her usual wallpaper of her alliance. She swiped to the contacts app and lazily scrolled through the list. Suddenly, her phone dinged. It was from Ruby. She cocked her head curiously, and clicked on the notification.

Ruby booby lol✨😝: heeeyy bubble!

Bubblegum: hoi Ruby! what's up?

Ruby booby lol✨😝: not much just wondering if u wanted to come out 2 lunch w/ me???

Bubblegum: oh lunch?? sure! where to?

Ruby booby lol✨😝: idk lol I saw a cool little place that has lots of food choices

Ruby booby lol✨😝: I went inside and it was p cool u should come w/ me!!

Bubblegum: that sounds good! it won't be packed much either since it's so late so that would be better

Ruby booby lol✨😝: ya I'll come pick u up

Bubblegum: yoyelcake!

               Bubble smiled and turned her phone off. That was oddly convenient, but nonetheless! She was gonna hang out with a great friend! They've always gotten along, ever since the beginning of high school when she first joined the alliance.

               Bubble stood up. She wasn't wearing clothes meant to go out, just a plain baggy t-shirt, sweatpants and slippers. She walked to the hall, and took a turn to her room. A small place to eat? Would they go someplace after? Probably, Ruby was always adventurous. They'd probably go out somewhere to get dessert. Bubble walked into her room and chucked her slippers off her feet, and strut jokingly to her dresser. She opened a drawer and pulled out the first baby blue shirt she saw, and navy blue jeans. She took off her current shirt, and put on the new one, then did the same with the pants. She took the dirty clothes a put them in a laundry basket, then walked to a mirror in her room. She fixed her hair up a bit, her hair always fluffy and round, and she smiled happily. She didn't look too bad today.

               Bubble walked out of the room, placing a bubble-hair-pin in her hair carefully, and smiled. She hoped Ruby would come soon, she really would like to hang out with her. She walked to the living room, and grabbed her phone and her purse. She made sure her wallet was in her bag as well. Thank goodness it was. She closed it and put the straps over her shoulder, and looked at the clock, then at the kitchen again. She sat down on her couch, and opened her phone, opening a social media app and scrolling through the photos. She saw Leafy was hanging out at the park, and Pencil was out with Match getting their nails done.
