Laying in bed, covered half way in the turquoise blanket with an intriguing pattern. The pillows propped up enough to be laying down in a slight sitting position.

Stocking in hand, digging inside for candy. Pulling out a small piece with DARK CHOCOLATE written in small text on the bottom, almost impossible to read without her glasses. She ripped the paper, and bit into one half. The mixture of bitterness and the smell of cigarette taste filling her mouth.

Suddenly, knocking. It was quiet for a moment before another girl came in, wearing an orange sweater, black leggings and shoes. Her hair pink with a grey warmer. Her scarf was also hot pink, and her gloves were black. She looked at the female on the cool colored bed, eating the candy without effort. "Hey."

"Hey."

"It's uh, Christmas."

"Yup." She popped the other half of the chocolate candy in her mouth.

The orange lady cleared her throat, "You uh, wanna come out? It's snowing."

She paused. "No,"

"Why not? You usually come out all the time when it's snowing."

"I got candy, I'm ok."

"Leafy,"

"It's ok. Go hang out with your alliance and stuff."

Pencil walked in closing the door, earning a small grunt from Leafy as a response.

"C'mon Leafy, it'll be fun."

"I said I'm ok, I don't mind missing a day, it'll pro-"

"It's because of Firey, huh?"

The green girl stared at Pencil. "Uh."

"He went out with Coiny... besides if he doesn't like you much, he wouldn't go near you, right?"

"He said he does like me. Just not enough to hang out."

"He doesn't like you." Pencil walked to the bed and grabbed her hand, "C'mon."

"What-"

"You are getting your coat and we are gonna make a snowman."

"But I-"

"No butts, lets go!"

Opened the door, about 32 degrees outside. Snowflakes are still falling. Leafy, now in a bright green hoodie with turquoise ear muffs and gloves. Her circular glasses pressed up on her face. She looked at the taller female. "Let's get started on the body."

"Pencil, I'm not feeling as energetic to do this."

"That's weird to hear. Just get started with me and we'll see how you feel."

Pencil grabbed her hand and walked with her off of the patio. She grabbed a chunk of snow and shaped it into a ball. She set it on the ground, and added more. Leafy hesitated, but added on.

"He needs a hat," Leafy said, staring at the lifeless clumps of snow.

"Let's make one out of snow." Pencil bent down, grabbing some and clumping it together, making a mini top hat. She then slid it on top. "Lets search for rocks." Pencil walked one direction, and Leafy walked the opposite.

They come back with grey rocks, small and smooth, then stick them onto the man, making it smile with eyes and buttons. Leafy placed a smaller rock in the middle of the face, substituting the nose. "He's cute."

"Yeah."

"Thanks for helping me make this guy, Leafy."

"It's nothing, not like I had a choice anyway."

Pencil laughed, "No, you didn't." Leafy smiled. "Hey, you're smiling!"

"Yes, I am."

"Good, do it more, it suits you."

Leafy felt her cheeks slightly heat up and she laughed, turning a cheek. "Alright."

Pencil laughed, and let out a short scream as snow collided with her orange sweater, some sticking on and standing out. "No fair, I'm not ready!"

"Then you should be Pence Pence!" Leafy called out, balling up another snowball. Pencil was quickly making one, but almost dropped it as she felt another hit her face. She laughed, and so did Leafy. Leafy hid behind a tree, quickly making another. She turned back around and Pencil wasn't there. She perked up, looking around for a moment.

"Sneak attack!" She heard a female voice, and screamed as she got pulled back, and a face full of snow.

Leafy laughed and fell onto the cold surface, wiping the snow off her face. "Hey! That's cheating!"

"Noooo!" Pencil exclaimed and shielded herself from the snow that Leafy threw. Pencil giggled then yelled as she got pulled down, not noticing Leafy get up when she covered her face. The females fell on top of each other and shared a laugh. Pencil looked at the giggling girl below her, Leafy soon looking back at her. Pencil lifted her hand and fixed the girls glasses as they were just a little above her forehead. Leafy smiled.

"Thanks." She said.

"No problem." Pencil smiled. They stayed in that position for a little before Pencil realized she was still on top of her. "Sorry, you must be getting cold."

"Kinda." Leafy giggles before Pencil got up from her. Leafy got up as well and shook the snow off of her.

"Time flies by fast." Pencil stated, sitting on the steps of Leafy's wood porch and looking at the orange and blue sky.

"Yeah, it does." Leafy agreed, staring with her. They stared for another minute before Leafy shifted herself and looked at Pencil, reviving the same eye contact. "Thanks for dragging me out. As much as I don't like admitting it, I needed it."

"I know you did. That's why I did it."

Leafy let out an exhaled chuckle, and nodded, staring at her lap for a moment, then looking back up. "You're fun, Pencil. I wish we could hang out more, but you always seem so busy."

"I'm not, actually. I just say that so I can have my time."

Leafy smiled more, "I get that."

"Yeah. Well, we can hang out more if you'd like."

"Really?"

"Of course, why not, right? You're cool, and I like hanging out with you."

"I'm glad."

Pencil took Leafy's hand. "Hell, why does it have to stop now?"

"Who said it does?"

"No one."

Pencil and Leafy stare at each other for a moment, "Wanna kiss?"

Pencil perked up, "What?"

Leafy giggled and reached into her pocket, and took out a Hershey's Kisses. Pencil let out a small exhale, and Leafy laughed, soon Pencil joined. "A kiss!"

"Hehe, sure." Pencil said, and held out her hand. Leafy put the candy in the palm of her hand, but then sat up and pecked her cheek. Pencil felt her cheeks heat up, and she looked to the side for a moment. Leafy smiled.

"C'mon, we can go inside and make some gingerbread men or something!" Leafy bounced up to her feet, "I've been learning how to cook it!" Pencil looked up, watching Leafy walk happily to the door. She was still blushing. Leafy turned around and looked at Pencil with a smile. "You coming?"

Pencil continued to stare for a moment, her hand then closing around the small chocolate in her hand. "Yeah, I am." She spoke. She stood up and walked to the door, Leafy opening it, allowing Pencil in first, then she followed, and closed the door behind her.
