Obliviate

"Did you even see her?"
"No, I did not. I was surrounded by dementors"
"How is this possible?"

I slowly open my eyes to see people standing next to my bed. "Oh hello, dear. Are you okay?" Asks the lady with a worried look on her face. What the fuck is happening is all I can think about. I slap myself, pinch myself. Nothing.

"Calm down hun, maybe you should lay down" says the lady pushing a black haired boy with glasses out of the way. He goes and crawls back into the bed beside me. "Calm down? I don't know where I am" I say in a frustrated tone.

"Oh, my name is Madam Pomfrey and you are in the hospital wing of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" I look at her with straight face. "I beg your pardon?" She looks at me and repeats herself. "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" she adds a smile. I take a pause and look at the floor and then to the man standing behind her. "Is she okay?"

"She is perfectly fine." He looks at madam Pomfrey and then back to me. He mumbles "This is going to be harder then I thought." He sighs. I look at him trying to figure out his thoughts. "Okay look..." I see he is asking for my name with the look on his face.

"Oh, I'm Y/N." I answer quickly. "Y/N, I'm Dumbledore. Look Y/N. I don't know how you came through to this world, but your a muggle and we need.. to take you back. I look at him with a surprising look. "Are you calling me an animal or something? What the fuck is a muggle. I'm offended and.... I just want to go home." I say with a demanding tone. He looks at me while I stand up. "Now, where do I need to go?" I say looking out the window.

The wind is moving the water right outside the castle. The sun is setting which reflects on the water and gives beautiful view. "First, I will have to use the obliviate spell." Says Dumbledore snapping me back to reality. "Excuse me?" I say, again not understanding what he is saying.

"Okay wait" says the boy with the glasses. He pads on the bed where he is sitting on, making me come sit next to him. "I'm Harry" he says "Harry potter and.. you are a human." I look at him with a confusing look not understanding where he is going with this. "Tell me something I don't know, potter boy" I say, not meaning to sound harsh.

"You're in another world right now called the wizarding world, and not the muggle world. People in the muggle world don't know that the wizarding world exists and to keep it that way, we use the obliviate spell which makes people forget this world. I somehow managed to take you into this world." He looks at dumbledore and continues "and I will make sure you will get back home." He tells me with an assuring look.

I realize he is truly trying to help me understand what is happening, which scares me cause this all could be real. "Is it okay for me to say, I don't believe in all this witchcraft or in spells that make me lose my memory?" I say laughing in disbelief. Harry looks at me and laughs. "Yes, it is okay. I think it's just to overwhelming" I look at him and say "It sure is, but I still don't believe it"

Harry pulls out his branch and tells me it's his wand. I look at the branch that is dark-brown and is beautifully cut. He looks at me while he holds is wand in the air. "Expecto patronum" blue light shoots out of his wand and forms a deer in the air. This is the light I saw this morning.......that's it. I look at the deer with my mouth agape and realize that they are going to erase my memory.

It is real. The fucking magic is real. this whole witchcraft and wizardry bullshit. And they are going to just grab my memory with a branch without me wanting that. I jump of the bed and wanna leave this castle now. But I sure as hell am leaving with my memory intact. Obliviate bullshit, like anyone would believe me anyway. I ran out of the infirmary looking for a way out leaving Madam Pomfrey, Dumbledore and Harry Potter shook. "Oh merlin's beard" says Madam Pomfrey sighing.
