Rio Nico x Reader

New Years Disaster

There's a celebration all around Rio for it is new years! Which means dancing and a whole lot of shenanigans and more.

Nico: "Am I your baby love?" (From now on "Is it a crazy love?" for example will mean that they are singing.)

C.C: "If it's not your love?" (The transcript says Jewel sings it but I thought C.C would be more fitting.)

Nico: "Is it a crazy love?" 

Pedro: "This is a crazy party, I'm so glad I'm here with everybody, Baby, move your body. Shake it to the ground. Break it-break it-break it down, Blu."

"Me? "What's a song if you can't hear it too?" Pedro squawks. "Can't imagine dancing without you." C.C sung "A shooting star ain't really nothing to see." Nico sung. "If you're not right here standing next to me " "Oh, listen to me, darling. I wake up every morning thinking about the way you feel. Oh, I wonder if you know it. What good is the party, if you're not around? Listen to me now. What good is love, if it's not your love?" C.C, Nico and Pedro were dancing freestyle. Everyone was cheering and having the time of their lives. Nico spun C.C around in mid-air and tipped his bottle cap. They kissed. "Your such a flirt Nico!" C.C said. "Only doing my best." Nico said as they both went back to free styling it. "And Nico means it when he says he does his best." Pedro said. "Oh! Shut your mouth you!" C.C said and they all laughed. A few moments later.  They all said "HAPPY NEW YEAR!". "Happy new year you tw- IS THAT BLU!?" C.C asked. "Yes that is Blu." Nico said. "Welp, Happy new years you two!" C.C pulled both Nico and Pedro into a hug. The next morning. C.C was in the brazil nut jar eating brazil nut while Blu was making breakfast for his family. C.C heard Jewel and then she heard the brazil nut jar get opened. "Don't tell Nico, Pedro or Raffie this is why I was late." She begged them and left in a hurry. She flew into the garage "Sorry I'm late!" She flew in and stood next to Nico. A few auditions later, Eva was singing. "You can't see it coming. You won't find it anywhere eeeelse!" The light bulbs broke as Nico, Pedro and C.C covered their ears. "Oh! Brava!  Brava! Brava! That was amazing! Eva, darling, you hit every note. Huh, guys?" Rafael said. "Yeah, yeah. Along with a bunch of notes I never heard of." C.C just nodded. "Rafi!" Eva glared at Rafael. "Ah-do-do-don't worry. I'll talk to them. We'll find the perfect spot for you." Rafael reassured her. "Antarctica, maybe" Nico said underneath his breath to Pedro and C.C.  "You better. "Tchau-tchau. Bye, boys and C.C." Eva said. "See you back at home,my tasty mango!" Rafael said. "None of these acts are inspiring. I'm just not inspired. Carnival is right around the corner and our reputations are on the line." Nico said. "Copy that. We need something that can make us wiggle. Something that'll make us jiggle. We need something that pops! Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop! You know what "pop" is backwards? Pop!" Pedro said. "Doubt we'll find anyone anytime soon." C.C said. "Next." Nico said. Blu comes slidding and crashes into some paint buckets. "Blu?" The 3 said in unison. "Sorry, Bro!" Luiz said. "It's okay, Luiz. Good to see you, too. Ugh." Blu shakes Luiz's saliva off. C.C, Pedro and Nico fly over to Blu. " Listen, Blu, we are looking for a singer, a dancer, the whole package." Pedro said. "Yeah, and you're more of a mumbler-shuffler. You catch my drift?" Nico said. " Nothing personal, Blu." C.C said. "Oh. No, no, no, no. No, no, I'm not here to audition. Uh...I've got news. I am going to the Amazon. Yay." Blu said. "The Amazon? Wow, that's wild." Luiz said. "Yeah, yeah, Jewel thinks it'll be good for us. Uh, how...how wild?" Blu asked. "Real wild." Luiz said. "They got mosquitoes that suck your blood like Slurpees." Pedro said. "Snakes that can swallow you whole." Nico said. "Flesh-eating piranhas that...eat flesh." Luiz said. C.C hit the 3 of them on the back of their heads. "Thats enough out of you three!" She said. "Ow.. Maybe hit us a little lighter?" Nico suggested. "Oh, great. That sounds really nice. I'm not going." Blu said. "Guys, guys, guys. Blu, you have nothing to worry about. All those stories are highly exaggerated." Rafael reassured Blu. "You think so?" Blu asked. "Of course! If this is important to Jewel, just do it. Happy wife, happy life. Remember that." Rafael said. "Okay. Yeah, you're right. You know, a little family vacation might actually be fun. Plus, it's not like it's forever." Blu said. "That's the spirit." Rafael said. "Yeah. Okay. Thanks, guys. See you in a couple of weeks!" Blu said. "Safe travels, Blu!" Rafael said. " Bring me back a souvenir!" Luiz said. "Dog, he ain't coming back. He is de-e-e-e-ead." Pedro said while C.C just hit on the back of his head harder. "OW!" Pedro complained. Some moments later "Hey, wait up, family! I'm coming, too! Don't worry, buddy. We got your back." Rafael said. "Eva let you come?" Jewel asked. "Sure. I promised her a spot in the Carnival show." Rafael said. "You did what?" Nico said as Pedro, C.C and him flew over. "You guys are late." Rafael said. "Clock late." Pedro said. "But musician early." Nico said. "Wait, you guys are coming?" Carla popped her out of her 'room'. "Yeah babybird!" C.C said. "We wouldn't miss it for the world. We're gonna scout the wildest, coolest talent in the jungle!" Nico said. "It's our inspiration for this year's Carnival show: "Amazon Untamed." Nico said as C.C nodded. "Cool! I mean, pfft, yeah. Okay. I guess I'll go." Carla said. "atta girl!" C.C said. "Amazon jungle or bust, baby!" Nico said. "Who is ready for a tropical adventure?" Pedro said as they all cheered. "I know I am!" Rafael said. "Alright!" Jewel said. "Let's go, birds!" Rafael said as they all started flying except for Blu. "Wait, we didn't do a head count! Hey, guys, wait up! Ah!" Blu screamed as he jumped off to fly. "Hey, birds! Come back! They left without me. Again! That's messed up." Luiz said. At one point they were riding on ostriches. "Faster, faster, faster!" Tiago said. "Slower! Slower! Slower!" Blu said. They flew over Manaus. "Here we are, kids. The gateway to the Amazon." Blu said. " Come on, gang. Almost there. No more flying today. We've got a boat to catch. According to my little friend here, this boat will get us there by morning." Blu said. "Yeah!" Carla, Bia and Tiago cheered. On the boat. "Hey, Nico!" C.C said flying over to him. "Hey, C.C!" He said. "I can't believe it! Finally going back to the Amazon! Its been too long!" She cheered. "What do you mean?" Nico asked. "Oh! I mean we're going to find lots of talent!" She said. "Yeah we are!" Nico said. "Hey birds! what are yous talking about?" Pedro asked. "Just that we're going to find lots of talent!" Nico said. "Thats the spirit." Pedro said. "What are we going to do with Eva thou?" C.C asked. "Don't worry, I have a plan!" Pedro said. "Okay." In the middle of the night they all woke up to the horn and Tiago screaming. "Tiago! Stop fooling around!" Jewel scolded him. "I didn't do anything." Tiago said. "Tiago Gunderson, listen to your mother." Blu said. "Oh, man!" Tiago said. "Ay, Blu Tiago did nothing." C.C said. "C.-" "Nope my job is to be the best aunty ever! That means sticking up for them." C.C said. "We're almost there, right?" Carla asked. "Yeah!" Pedro said. They all cheered. "Hey, guys! Guys! Wait up." Blu said struggling to keep up. "Come on, Blu." Rafael said. "Remember, birds of a... Never mind." Blu said. "YOU HAVE REACHED YOUR DESTINATION." The GPS said. "You see? It, uh...works like a charm. Here we are." Blu said. "Uh...where?" Carla asked. "Oh, these things have a margin of error."  Blu said. "I told you not to trust that woman." Jewel said watching a bug slide along a tree log. "That's a Heliconious larva. It's about to enter the pupa stage." Bia said fascinated. "You said poop!" Tiago said flying after the bird. "Hey!" Bia said. "Hey, kids. Stay close." Blu told them as Bia flew after Tiago. "It's "pupa", bird-brain!" Bia said. " I'll get them." Jewel flew after them. "Okay, uh...you guys stay put. Um...I'll look around." Blu said to the rest of the group. "No worries. We'll be here. We're not going anywhere." Rafael said quietly. "My feathers is popping up on the back of my neck." Pedro said as C.C gave them uneasy look. "I don't like this." Nico said. "Mmm-mmm. Let's back it up. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep." The 3 of them backed up.
