I stepped out of my shower then started to dry myself only to hear the distant shouts of my parents. I rolled my eyes, not amused by their antics.

I dressed myself in dark skinny ripped jeans, vans and a cute sweater since the days are becoming colder. I grabbed my belongings and exited my bedroom. Making my way into the kitchen, I saw my little brother looking at my parents confusedly.

"You could've fixed this, Veronica!" My father said blankly. My mother rolled her eyes.

"Like you aren't to be blamed as well, Marcelo." She said with a raised brow looking at the sad looking cake on the counter.

They both turned to me with huge smiles on their faces. They always start the morning with bickering like an old married couple though they're young.

"Good morning, Leah!" Mom said with her eyes welling with tears as I looked at her weirdly.

"My baby is growing up so fast. I mean look at you! Just the other day you were running around in diapers and tripping down the stairs-" she began sobbing on dad's chest as he holds back his tears as well.

"Mom, its just senior year. It's like every school year but its just the last one. There isn't much to be excited over." I shrugged.

I mean it wasn't a lie. Plus, I was getting tired of her habit of being so dramatic.

"Leah's right, V. Let's not keep them back." Dad stated trying to comfort his wife.

"Bye, mommy!" Aiden, my six-year-old brother squealed as mom and dad lifted him up and placed kisses on his cute cheeks.

"Bye-bye Le." Mom said she kisses my cheeks causing me to groan, but I still accept them though.

I grabbed the lunch bag before running behind an excited Aiden to my car. I made sure he was safe and the seat belt was on him securely before doing the same for myself.

On our way to Aiden's school, he talked about a pretty blonde girl in his class that he liked. He even shared his juice box with her. Aiden NEVER shares! I thought it was pretty cute though. He would shush me every time I teased him and his cheeks would turn pink. So adorable.

"I packed and extra juice box for you. So maybe you can share it with you little girlfriend." I winked at him teasingly.

"Really? Thanks! Bye, Lele!" He basically tumbled out of my car and then ran over to a little dark haired girl blushing when he greeted her. He wasn't lying when he said she was cute. I shook my head, amused by his unusually shy behaviour.

I was in high spirits today for some reason and I wasn't about to let anyone ruin it. I parked my car and got out swinging my bag over my shoulder and placing my hand in my back pocket, a habit I have developed.

Strotting through the halls, I made my way to my locker to see two people sucking each others face off. I rolled my eyes and shoved them far away, breaking their kiss and them looking at me suprized.

"Keep that ten feet away from me and my locker, thank you very much." I said shooting them a scowl before reaching for my books. Bell rings in twelve minutes and I wasn't about to let two hormonal teens get me in trouble. They rolled their eyes before leaving my alone.

"Dude, that was hilarious! I almost thought you were about to cuss them out." Jazmine, my best friend, laughed at the current look of distaste that crept into my expression. I can almost smell the pheromones in the air.

"Whatever. Let's head to English before Sir. Borris locks the door." I said changing the topic.

"As if. The guy loves you. You are the only student that gets straight A's in his class." She said rolling her brown eyes at me.
