I was suprised to see the pretty Blasian (black+asian) girl approach me. Out of all these girls in this stupid school, she was by far the prettiest. She probably doesn't even know it.
She looked so adorable with the way she would blink her slanted eyes in confusion or how she would have an extra skip in her step on her happy days. She was curvy and had a dark pigmentation in her skin with pretty freckles dusted all over her soft skin and curly dark hair she would have her dark curly hair in a bun or in a braid but never out and flowing.
She wore a cute sweater that did a terrible job on hiding her curves. When she told me she read the same book that I was, I was instrigued but when she asked me out, giddy was an understatement.
What the fu-
Since when did I get excited for dates?
Today was Friday night and we had no school today. It also meant I had a few hours to prepare for our date. I was so nervous. I didn't even know what to wear.
I plopped myself on the bed ready to let sleep over take my conciousness so I can at least have enough energy to run on before I fall out of a chair during our date. I laughed at the idea of me falling out of a chair with a shocked Leah standing over me. Maybe going on that date would be fun.
I wonder if she is thinking about me like I have been thinking of her throughout the week?
I finally gave into the darkness and dreamt of the perfect plump lips pulled into a charming smile.
Leah Song.

"You literally have nothing in this huge ass closet. Not even a cocktail dress!" Jaz sighed dramatically.
Now tell me, why do I need a cocktail dress? Jaz came over at my place for a sleepover and also to help me get ready for my date, which was in the next half an hour or so from now. My parents left home for work. They knew about the date but they left unwillingly since mom wanted to see me dress up and dad wanted to meet the guy. With a Korean-Italian mom and an Italian-American father, you can only imagine how much trouble it took me to convince them for me to go and for them to leave the house as well.
I heard a pleasant gasp and I looked up from my phone with me still wrapped in my bathrobe to see Jaz holding a black tight dress with spaghetti straps and a slit running down from the mid-thigh. That was my Aunt from back in Korea's dress that was smaller than what she wanted. Perks of being nice to your family I guess.
"This was made for you! You have to wear this, Le!" She said twirling the dress around dramatically. She always had a thing for dramatic flares, much like my mother.
"I don't know, J. Isn't it a little too...much?" I asked uncertain about the dress.
"Bullshit. You wanted me to help you get ready. Now get ready!" She said before shoving the dress into my face. I rolled my eyes and stripped out of my robe and stepped into the dress. The fine material stuck to me like second skin.
I heard a honk of a car. I looked out the window to see a decent, clean white car near my driveway. Must be Jason. I gazed around and gathered my things before going to Jaz to quickly do my hair up in a bun.
"Ok, now what you're missing is this." She muttered before she slipped on a silver necklace with a black stone pendant and matching earings, braceletts and rings. I glanced at her with wide eyes.
"Well, I was gonna wait to give you this for your birthday but since you oof-" I hugged her tightly thanking her.
"Its beautiful, Jazmine. Thank you." I said before pulling away from the hug. I made my way to my bedroom door where a pair of black heels waited for me.
