Talking and masks

Y/n POV

As I opened my eyes the next day, I decided to not go to school today. I still felt like ripping Rias' head off and if her family is powerful devils then I would have to deal with them.

I got up before throwing some clothes on. I wasn't going to leave me house. I had magic to do.

I grabbed a folder that was in my bedside table. I opened it to reveal arrow plans. I walked to the living room and spread them out over the table. Fire arrows. Ice arrows, shock arrows, soul stealer arrows, bone arrows(dragonbone) and even a dwarven telekinesis arrow (this is a creation club kit. It's very fun to use).

I looked over what I needed for each arrow once before grabbing the resources from my closet. Then I took everything I needed to my basement, what had my blacksmith stuff in it.

I took a few iron arrows out and laid them out on the anvil. I put a pair of leather gloves and an apron on to protect myself from the heat, even though I'm resistant to fire, it still burns.

I started to smith arrow after arrow before I had a good supply of 30 of each type of arrow.

I made cases for each arrow before I put them away. Then I heard a knock on the front door.

I went up and opened it revealing Rias.

Y/n: may I ask why you are here?

Rias: why didn't you come to school? Or at least the ORC?

Y/n: because I still felt like ripping your head off. Also because I had a bit of magic work I had put off for awhile

Rias: and that is?

Y/n: special arrows. Depending on which one used depends of the effects. For example a fire arrow will explode into flames while a shock arrow will sent lightning around a small area from where it exploded

Rias nodded.

Rias: may I come in?

I groaned mentally.

Y/n: sure...

I moved out of her way as she came in.

Rias: it's very neat

Y/n: I can't get work done if my stuff is lying all over the place. Plus won't it look weird to have a glowing sword, that had fire around it, sitting out in the open? Or a bow that glows when held in the light?

Rias: got it

She walked over to the couch before reaching under the cushions and taking out a sunhollowed arrow.

Rias: you at least keep it in a good foots reach. What is this anyway? It's not a normal arrow as I sense a very strong energy from it

Y/n: sunhollowed arrow. It's for Auriel's bow. Unlike the bloodcursed arrow, which turns day to night, when this arrow is shot into the sun meteors of light come raining down. It's only works if used in Auriel's bow(Bloodcursed arrow is if you side with the Vampires. Sunhollowed is if you side with Dawnguard. You know about both and have both, regardless of being part of Dawnguard but just don't use it a lot).

Rias: good to know

She put the arrow back under the couch and sat down.

Y/n: so why are you here? Other than to check on me

She took a deep breath.

Rias: can Asia live here?

I thought it over for a minutes before answering.

Y/n: sure. I'll just tell her not to go into my room and downstairs

Rias: oh? And wants in there?

Y/n: Can I not have secrets?

She smiled and I just glared. I when back to the basement to hang up my apron and gloves. Then I heard Rias call to me.

Rias: hey Y/n?

I walked back up and saw her looking at the masks on the far wall.

Rias: what are these?

Y/n: dragon priest masks. The golden one is Miraak, one of the more recent one I got. They come from dragon priests, people who sergers the dragons and were gifted with these magic masks. The one I use give me resistance to fire for instance. Miraak, though he was a dragon priest, he didn't serve them. He devoured them.

Rias: so he was a...

Y/n: Dragonborn. Yeah I know, strange. But I was not the first nor will I be the last

Rias: got it. And so what does this one do?

She pointed to Konahrik.

Y/n: if I'm seriously injured it has a chance to activate, hurting the enemy and healing me quickly. It's very powerful

Rias: so why don't you use that one?

Y/n: I like the added fire resistance. Combined that with a Dunmer's natural resistance to fit I basically take no fire damage. But I may change it to-

I pointed to Otar.

Y/n: Otar. Wearing his mask gives me a plus 25% resistance to fire, frost and shock damage respectively.

I picked it up and hung Ahzidal.

Y/n: I'll switch right now. Might as well

I climbed Otar to my belt hook.

Y/n: so when's Asia coming here?

Rias: later today. I'll be back with her

Y/n: got it

She then walked to the door and left, closing it behind her. I just sat down on the couch.

Y/n: I wonder what everyone's doing back home? It's good the dragon crisis is solved, if only for now
