The next morning Kasper was helping Addison bring more supplies onto the ship. He had given his letter to a trader who said that he was going to Herdstra. Addison chuckled as he looked at two of the crew members dancing along to the shanty 'Drunken Sailor' and began to sing along with his crew members. Kasper chuckled "you guys know a number of songs don't you?"The brunette laughed "yeah well, when you go to different places all of the time, you learn a lot of things." Vicktor came up and helped with one of the boxes "that's right Addison. That's one of the best things about being a pirate. You can see so many new places." The blonde said with a smile, the look only someone with a love for adventure could have appearing on his face. Kasper smiled softly at the captain. He had only known him for a couple of days now but he began to feel a sort of admiration for the blonde haired man. Kasper knew how felt though. His entire life he wanted to have a life changing adventure, and his father's stories didn't help any. Scarlet then walked up to them, having the scowl on her face that she usually when she approached Kasper. "What's up Scar?" Vicktor asked. The female crossed her arms "we missed bait for fishing. If we want to catch anything on our way to the next town or island, we're gonna want some, we're almost out." Scarlet explained. Vicktor nodded and thought for a moment before speaking "hey Kas," He began. Kasper looked over almost immediately upon hearing the new nickname. The blonde male noticed the surprised look on his face and chuckled "do me a favor and go into town and get us some bit." He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out twenty silver coins and placed them in Kasper's hand "this should be good." He told him with a smile. Kasper nodded and put the coins in his pocket "I'll be right back."

Kasper walked into the kingdom of Oclaria, taking small moments to admire the beauty of it. "Maybe when I find dad, we can all move here together." He said to himself. He quickly found a place to buy some bait and did so. On his way back to the ship he an into a man. The two exchanged looks for a second. He was tall, had long dark hair, a beard, and multiple scars. If there was one word to describe the look of this man it was unfriendly. Kasper smiled awkwardly "sorry about that sir." He said quickly before continuing on his way back to the Coastal Melody. Once he made it back he handed the bucket of bait to Leon, who gave him a smile. Kasper chuckled at the red head "I swear if you ruffle my hair Leon." He threatened in a playful tone. Leon was a tall male with a lean body, his red hair reachedto his shoulder blades and was always unkempt, freckles dotted his faceand his grey eyes, which were a feature of his that stood out the most, always had a mischievous glint in them. Vicktor smiled and patted Kasper on the shoulder. The captain of the crew was on the shorter side for being twenty, still taller than Kasper himself. He had sandy blonde hair that reached the middle of his back that was always in a ponytail that was half draped over his shoulder having bird feathers tied into it, he had a prominent scar on his cheek below his right eye, which were his striking features. They were as blue and clear as ice and held many mysteries behind them. It was safe to say he probably got his looks from his mother, who remained unknown to Kasper and he was too scared to as about her, than instead of Sebastian, his father who had dark hair that was almost completely grey, probably from stress, and dark eyes. Dark eyes that held pain.

The ship left the docking port soon after they loaded all of the supplies on. Kasper was at his usual spot on the side of the ship, once again he was staring at the horizon. Thinking about Jackson. Something pulled at his heart, fear of something happening to the brunette took control of Kasper's mind and he gave a heavy sigh. He jumped when he heard the gruff voice of Sebastian behind him. "Everything alright kid?" He asked, joining the black haired male. Kasper shrugged and looked down "Back in Herdstra, I have a best friend. His name is Jackson. I'm just worried that the upper class found him and dragged him into the military because of the threatening war with Swintence. I don't want to lose him so, I guess I'm just worried." Kasper confessed. Sebastian nodded "I know how you feel. Your father, Tom, he was my best friend back when we were young men. I remember when I first met the bastard. Most cocky son of a bitch I had ever met. Back then I had hoped that karma would give him what he deserved sometimes. Yet somehow the man became my closest friend. We drank until we were blue in the face together and fight back to back together." He said, a small smile gracing his worn features. He looked at Kasper and gave a small laugh, causing the eighteen year old to tilt his head in confusion "what?" He questioned. Sebastian shook his head "I'm sorry, I just can't get over how much you look like Emily. That's something you and Vicktor have in common," Sebastian said. He turned round and looked up at his son, who was going over a section of a map with Leon, with a smile. "Yup, Vicktor is a spitting image of his mother. From his blonde hair to his personality. There is no doubt he is Ro's child." Kasper nodded as he listened to the older man. "Of course," Sebastian began again "you knew Tom. Vicktor never got to know his mother." He said, small hints of sorrow laced within his voice. Kasper frowned "what happened?" He asked quietly. Sebastian closed his eyes and sighed "Ro died when Vicktor was extremely young. The only thing he has of her's other than her looks and personality, is that compass around his neck." Kasper nodded and looked up at Vicktor, he had just now noticed that he never took the golden colored compass around his neck off, he understood why. "I'm guess it's important to him then." He said. Sebastian nodded "He'll let himself get killed before he let's something happen to it." He explained. Kasper continued to listen to the former captain. A soft smile was on his face as he continued to watch his son "Ro would be so proud of him. Sometimes I wish he never grew up, the fact that he's twenty makes me feel like an old man. It's funny of me to think back to when he was a child, he would always go on about how he was going to be the best captain that the seven sea's had ever seen. Now here he is. Captain of the Everest Bounds crew ever since he was sixteen, leading it just the same way Ro did." These words made Kasper's hazel eyes widen and he looked at Sebastian with surprise. "Wait, Ro used to be captain of the crew?" He asked. Sebastian nodded "she was captain when I had joined Everest Bounds. I became captain after she died. Then, I let myself get injured to the point where I can do hardly anything anymore, leaving the job to a sixteen year old, who had no idea how to lead a pirate crew." Kasper looked up at the man who was the topic and smiled softly "yeah but, he knows what he's doing now, right?" Sebastian looked at him as he said this statement and chuckled softly "yeah, I guess you got a point there." He told Kasper as he patted his shoulder before walking away. Kasper smiled and looked back out at the ocean. He may not of realized it but, he was slowly opening up to his new crew mates.
