Over the time they had been at sea, the skies had been clear and sunny, only white fluffy clouds had served a disturbance in it's peace. Kasper stretched as he let out a yawn before going back to leaning up against the side of the ship. He heard a chuckle from behind him and turned to see Addison cleaning up his pistol "Bored?" He asked. Kasper nodded "Is it like this a lot?" He questioned. Addison nodded "Yeah, and we won't make it to the next town for another week. It's better you find something to occupy yourself with." The brunette said, his green eyes looking up at his new crew mate. It wasn't uncommon to see the ship's crew to be doing their own thing. Scarlet was usually seen fishing with some of the other crew members or sharping her sword. Addison was usually seen making adjustments to his pistol or cloud gazing. Leon was usually seen at the ship's wheel or logging a map. And Vicktor, if he wasn't keeping an eye on his crew and ship, he was seen writing in a journal, Kasper can only assume it was a Captain's log.
Kasper sighed and looked over at the blonde man. He was writing at the very moment, he looked up and his icy blue eyes caught Kasper's hazel gaze. He gave the younger a smile. Standing, the pirate captain walked over to the black haired boy "You look bored," He commented, joining Kasper's side. Kasper chuckled "Is it that obvious?" He asked sheepishly. A chuckle rumbled through Vicktor's throat "Just a bit,". The two males looked at each other before laughing softly. Vicktor gained a look as if he remembered something "Oh by the way, here." He reached in the pocket of his coat and pulled out a worn leather journal "The old man wanted me to give this to you. Apparently it was your father's." He said, placing the book in Kasper's hands.
The hazel eyed boy looked at the journal and back at the blonde for several seconds. Vicktor smiled, giving a small hum of laughter before patting Kasper's shoulder "That should keep ya occupied for a bit. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask." He told him before returning to where he was before. Kasper stared at the journal before carefully opening it to the first page where 'Tom Hirasen' was written. Kasper then turned the page.

Today marks the start of a new adventure. Captain Ro had decided to add me to the crew. Why? I have no idea. Said she has a good feeling about me, whatever the hell that means. The ship is so lively, I don't remember the countryside ever being like this. It's different that what I'm used to. I'm used to country air. Not ocean breeze. It's very refreshing if I'm going to be honest. Mother and father must think I'm dead. I'll come back and see them eventually. Ro's lover, Sebastian is pretty nice fellow. He's introduced me to everyone in the crew. Told me what is what and how it all works. I think the two of us will get along well.'
Kasper smiled as he was reading. Getting along with everyone easily was something that he remembered very clearly about his father. Turning the pages Kasper continued to look through pages, excited to read about his father's adventure.

Ended up spraining my arm today. Sebastian and I had fallen from the roof of a home in the town we had stopped at.'
Kasper cringed slightly and raised an eyebrow "What were they even doing up there?" He said to himself. He then remembered when he and Jackson had been stuck in a similar situation, although Kasper had broken his wrist and Emily wasn't very happy when her son came back home holding his arm saying that he needed to go see the only doctor in town. The black haired male blinked a couple times as he went through the memory. Now that he thought about it, he had broken a number of his bones countless times. His father only being there to his five year old son's rescue one time before he had disappeared. Kasper had been playing with Jackson for one of the first times when the two had become friends. Tom and Damien had been there with the two boys who were playing on top of an old broken stone bridge. While chasing Jackson, Kasper had slipped and fell, landing on his leg and breaking it. Tom had tried to run and catch his son but he wasn't quick enough.
