Im sorry.

It was 11:00 and I was watching a movie with Dan and Phil. We were all in Dan's bed with me in the middle. Dan went out to buy a giant bag of candy. It was already halfway gone. The movie ended and Phil got up to turn it off. " So, Ri, You can either sleep in my or Phil's bed or you can borrow some pillows and make something on the floor." Dan says quietly. " Um, I don't care. I'm fine with any of them." I stutter out. " Ok ill ask Phil." he says while getting up and leaving me on the bed. Then my phone lights up with a text message. It's from Alex. do I really want to read this. I open the text and I see this long list of I'm sorry's. I shut off my phone and plop into the pillows. I feel bad for Alex but he is being such a jerk. Maybe I should just give him a break. I let a tear slide down my cheek and I drift off into sleep.

Dan's P.O.V.

I walked into the kitchen where Phil was making a cup of coffee. " Hey, since Riley is staying here tonight, she was wondering where she will be sleeping." I say while leaning against the counter. " Um, I don't care, she is like a little sister so with me is fine but if you want here with you..." " No it's fine, we can asked her." I say interrupting him. We walk back in to the bedroom and I see Riley asleep on my bed. " I guess she's with you then." Phil says laughing. He goes over to get into his sleepwear and I pull of my shirts and jeans and put on some shorts. I then crawl next to Riley, trying not to disrupt her and turn to face her. She is so cute when she is asleep. Should I be feeling like this over one of my best friends. I see a few tears on her cheeks and I brush them off lightly with my thumb. She grabs my arm as I'm pulling away. " don't leave me." she says quietly. She pulls her arm close to her and rolls over next to me. I put my arm around her shoulders and that's how I fell asleep.
