Late at Night

The angel of death

Sits by my bed

She came to give me a good Night kiss

Her lips

filled with peace and Bliss

"Im not ready." I say with tears in my eyes

"I know, but when life becomes unbareable, I'll always be here." She said combing my hair with her fingers

Her pitch black wings touch the ceiling

It fills my room with darkness and depth

Shes never here when the sunlight shows

But when the darkness of Night

Creeps up behind

The clouds

Her face is all that I could See

"Cant you just leave?"

"No, im always going to be here, you just have the power to See."

"What does that mean?"

"Nothing, go back to sleep."

In my dreams

Shes always there

In the background

Or every where

Im surrounded by death

I cant hide

Theres no escape

I just have to meet my fate

I cant choose the date

When my walls come tumbling down

'till then,

She'll always be arround

She took One of my friends today

She said there was no pain

"Dont worry, you wont feel a thing."

"Is my time up?"

"No, but soon."

"Why me?"

"Because you're brave, and God needs you for his army of soliders."

"But Im to young, What will happen to my family?"

"when their time is up, they could come too."

Later on that week,

When her visitation was through

She leaned over and kissed my lips

This is it,

No more hospital bed

No more hair shred

When i opened my eyes

All I saw was white

Then thousands of kids came marching in

I See my bestfriend

She looked healthy again

"You're finally here, I've been waiting forever, now we can be together, intill the end."
