Your Door

     I'm sitting here, i'm completely surrounded by doors.  I'm surrounded by these doors that are labeled wisdom, motivation, self discipline, and many more that help builds me as a person. Almost  every single door is open except for yours. Your door is labeled as "Mother Figure". You have never opened your door for me. It's like i'm a starving puppy, waiting for my owner to finally come home at the end of the day and feed me all the love and affection that I have been craving. But I think i'm going to be starving for a while. I tried talking and expressing myself to you, but that door still remains closed. No matter how hard I cry and no matter how broken I get, you will never open your door. But I will remain seated here until you open it, because I need you. 

     Lately I find myself wandering around these doors trying to find the advice and happiness that your supposed to bring to me. But at the end of the day I find myself coming back to the same  cold door, your door. I still tell you how my day went, I tell you the good and the bad and the thing that I hope to get better. 

     When I get bored and too lonely I attempt to open your door myself. When I touch the cold and rusted door handle it feels like millions of needles have pierced my skin. Instead of love and happiness, negativity spews  and slaps me across my face and breaks me even more than I already am. Then you come and close the door. That is the only time I get to see you. I keep trying to open the door because I know you will close it, yes aren't happy to see me but I am happy to see you. When you come to close the door it just gives me hope that one day you will open it yourself. But I still remain seated in front of your door until that day finally comes.

    I just need you to finally open the door and finally realize how badly i need you. So, i will sit here and wait for that to happen.
