I was screwed. I was in so much trouble. Just why did he have to come at this time?

"D-dad?"

Dad?! He's his dad?? Wow, this is bad.

They both looked at each other so intensely. "I-I can expai-"

"EXPLAIN WHAT?! EXPLAIN THAT YOU WERE JUST ABOUT TO KISS THAT FUCKING BASTARD?!"

"Dad, please listen to m-"

"LISTEN TO WHAT?! I'VE ALREADY SEEN EVERYTHING. DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT MOTHERFUCKER DID?! HE MURDERER MANY PEOPLE, AND NOW YOU'RE GONNA COME TO ME AND TELL ME YOU LIKE HI-"

"IT'S NOT ANY DIFFERENT FROM YOU, DAD!"

His dad froze, and his eyes widened. What does he mean by that?

"W-wha-"

"Don't act oblivious. You know what you did. You LITERALLY KILL PEOPLE FOR A LIVING!!"

My eyes widened. I almost gasped, but tried to keep it in. What the actual heck? His dad is a murderer? I wondered if Jungkook is a murderer just like him.

"J-jungkoo-"

"Leave."

"What?"

"I SAID LEAVE! I DON'T WANNA SEE YOU ANYMORE."

His dad chuckled and smirked. "You will regret this, son."

His dad left, but not without slamming the door behind him.

Jungkook signed. He looked tired. Tired of what's been happening.

I suddenly felt pity towards him. All this time I thought he was really annoying. Even at the times he stopped me from going in his dad's office, I thought he was doing it to annoy me. But turns out...

he was protecting me.
