Ella walked across stage to her mark.  She loved the theater.  The lights shone brightly on her as she stood, feet facing forward.  She tapped the other character on the shoulder.

"Excuse me sir," her character spoke in a nice southern accent.  An accent that was not hers.  The man turned around.

"How can I help you?"  Isaac Choi was playing her love interest.  The pair loved working together so when the writer and director, James Conway, contacted them, they were more than happy to help.

"I'm just looking for the man who owns this here bakery," Ella points to the set.  Isaac chuckles.

"That would be me," He responds.  The play continues on.  The final scene was a dramatic one where Isaac's character dies of smallpox.  Ella screams over his body and kisses his lips before being dragged away by the doctors.  Ella loved that scene because it did not show Ella dying with Isaac, but gave the implication that she had given up and let herself potentially be infected as well.

Ella wiped her tears and drank and entire bottle of water as soon as the curtain fell after their final bows.  Isaac came up from behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.  He was an incredibly physically affectionate person.

"That was amazing Ella," he cooed in her ear.  She shoved him off.  Ella was not physically affectionate person.

"Thank you.  Are you coming to dinner with Jae-Eun and I. Parker said he might be there,"  she inquired.  Isaac made a face and shook his head.

"I dunno.  I'm just really in the mood to make new friends,"

"Come on.  If you don't like him you can leave.  I'll remind you of an early call time or something,"  Ella promised.  Isaac looked down and nodded.  The young woman clapped quickly and squealed.  She grabbed her bag, shed her costume quickly and dragged Isaac with her.  He was kicking off his costume as she tugged him through the door.  Ella wasn't wearing a shirt, just a bra, as she ran out.  There were a few stares as she skipped to her car.  She had shorts on.  So did Isaac.  At least Isaac had the common sense to wear and undershirt and not just strip in public.

She unlocked her car with a beep and hopped in.  As Isaac pulled open the door to the blue hybrid Ella pulled on a black tee shirt.  It was her boyfriend's.  Ella was relatively well known so few knew about her relationship with Christopher Lynn, a well known Congressman.  Neither were sure how their relationship would be judged should they tell people.

The two drove without talking to each other.  It was far from silent.  Ella had a problem where she hated silence unless it was emphasizing a point.  Dramatic.  Instead she opted to listen and scream music from the radio.  Isaac sang along quietly.  He was always afraid that he would injure his voice and that was his life.

Isaac Choi was a musician.   He had started on YouTube before breaking out quickly while still in high school.  It was strange to have people swarm him at school when they had never looked twice at him before.  He finally left school, unable to cope with the fans that jumped him in biology.  As he home schooled his last two years, he got really into theater.  That's where he met James who simply adored him.  During a production after he graduated high school, Ella came to audition.  James had gone to school with Ella and cast her immediately.

As love interests they became quite close, but never fell in love.  Isaac was not one who believed in love.  He had never cared about anyone romantically.  It was at this time that Chris met her during a political rally.  Isaac often passed Chris' messages to her when he couldn't be there.  It was also during this time that Jae-Eun returned to his life.
