Akaniae's POV

I find myself somewhere unfamiliar... I was in... a cabin? I look out the window and all I see is a meadow of trees. I was in a forest. But... it was night. I get up and look around, struggling a bit since the only light guiding me was a dull lamp in the corner of the room. I see something going from the middle of the small room, then out the door. The door was closed. I went up to it, turning the knob. I was expecting it to be locked, so I was surprised when I heard the familiar click of the door, then the loud squeak of the door opening. As soon as it opened, I was hit with a strong smell of something metallic. Blood. I looked on the floor, feeling something wet and sticky. That's where the smell was coming from. I gagged, but managed to not throw up. I followed the blood trail all the way down the hall. When I was coming closer to the last room, I heard what sounded like muffled crying. My heart nearly stopped right there. I peaked in the open door and saw a man with his back to me and a girl on the floor in front of him, hands tied and mouth taped. She had blood dripping from her head and she was crying, her hair sticking to her face from the blood and tears. I strained my eyes to see in the dull light. This time my heart did stop, and for multiple reasons. One of them, the girl was Serenity. And the second one, the man punched her. "This is YOUR fault! YOU brought me here! YOU'RE making me do this!" he screamed at her, punching her again. She started crying more. I tried to lean a bit more, but slid a bit on the fucking blood and hit the door frame. The man turned around quickly. It's him. The blood red eyed. The wide smile. He walked towards me, a knife suddenly in his hand. His steps were slow and steady, each seeming louder than the ones before, as if he was doing this for fucking emphasis. I back up, fearing for my life and Serenity's. Suddenly, by back hit a wall. No no no! This can't be happening. He stepped in front of me, raising his knife, his eyes glowing more than before and then-

I spring up out of my bed, gasping for air. My heart rate was kind of insane right now. I couldn't seem to catch my breath as a sharp pain shot through my body, starting from my stomach. I screamed in pain, trying to press a button to call a nurse. A few seconds later, four nurses burst through the door, all doing a million different things. I wasn't paying much attention to them as I started feeling like I was going to pass out, but later found out that one of the nurses was putting me back to sleep. I finally calm down as I drift into a deep sleep.

I'm running through the woods once again, but again, I don't exactly know what I'm running from... i could hear loud, stomping feet running behind me, starting to close in on me. Right as I think it's going to get me, I got a random burst of speed, and I ran out of there, and deeper into the trees. I keep running until I can barely breathe. I decide to stop and catch my breath, leaning on a tree and taking deep breaths. I look up, seeing a clearing in the trees with a small cabin in the middle of it. I walked over to it, seeing if it was a good spot to hide. I walk around, looking through all the rooms. "Ok... I think this is safe," I whispered to myself. "Are you sure?" a deep, distorted voice said behind me. I jumped, turning around, seeing that face. That fucking face. Leave me alone! Who the hell are you?! He lunged for me. "No!"

I sit up quickly again, gasping for air, still seeing that stupid face. "No! No! Get away!" I screamed, holding my head, rocking back and forth, trying to get rid of the image of him. A nurse came running in, trying her best to calm me down. "Hun, you need to calm down! You busted your stitches last time. If you don't calm down you'll do it again," she said, holding my shoulders gently, but firmly. I start breathing easier. "There you go! Would you like some water?" she asked, giving me a soft smile. I looked at her, nodding. She smiles and gives me a cup of cold water, which I gratefully, drinking it. I give her a small smile, giving her the cup back. I thought about the dream again and began to get worried. Why am I having these dreams? And why is it always about a cabin in the woods? And what the hell am I running from. But... why is Serenity starting to show up in my dreams now? I get even more worried. "Where's my phone? I need to call my best friend," I say to the nurse, who was writing something down. She looked up. "Oh... I don't think you should call her right now. Not in the state you're in," she said, going back to whatever she was writing. "Why can't I call her? It's not like I'm moving around or anything," I tried again. "No. I don't want you doing that right now," she said. She seemed almost irritated that I wanted to call Serenity. This made me mad. "I'M CALLING HER RIGHT NOW! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!" someone said... it couldn't have been me... it didn't sound like me. It was so deep and distorted. The nurse went completely white and nodded her head, grabbing my phone and giving it to me quickly, her hands shaking violently, then running out of the room. What was that about? Oh well. I call Serenity, but there wasn't an answer. I was worried, until I looked at the time. 3:33 in the morning. She must be sleeping right now. Nothing to worry about. But that voice... that wasn't mine... right?
