Chapter 6 - Inside The House

Sebastian's Pov

I had set Serenity down on the couch and walked into the kitchen. The kitchen was destroyed, but because of my abilities, I made it look beautiful. I sat at the rusty kitchen table that had an ouija board on it. I had covered it and made it look like a centerpiece. It was the same board that Serenity and the boys played. A follower of mine, Tiana I think her name is, was talking to them and I took over, sensing Serenity's spirit, knowing she disrespected us spirits. I took things in my own hands. Another demon had gotten out of the board as well his name was Abucus. He was currently a lot stronger than myself because of the last teenagers I tried to torment forced me back inside the board. I growl as I hear a phone ring. I walk back out to the living room and see Serenity's phone glowing from her pocket. I pull it out, seeing it was Nia. I smile, answering it. "Hello, Serenity's phone," I say. "Um...hello who is this? Where is my friend?" Nia says and I hold back a laugh. Abacus was there with her. I could tell by her voice. "Your friend is fine. She was walking home and I ran into her I offered to walk her home because she looked... distressed. On our way there, she... well she started... seeing things. She was screaming in fear. She passed out on the street. She is currently asleep in my home," I say swiftly, smirking to myself. I had caused her to see things and I was damn proud of it. "Listen here, bud. I don't know who the hell you are, but If you lay a hand or a fucking finger on my friend, I will kill you!" Nia snaps and I chuckle. "Trust me. Your friend... will come to no harm," I say and hear Nia sigh. "Have her call me when she wakes up," Nia says. "Alright," I say as the phone clicks off. I shut it off and set it on the table beside Serenity. I sit on the table, staring at her. I touch her head, watching as small bruises form on her skin. I move down to where I scratched her and smile wildly. I touch them, making small welts form. I pull away as I hear Serenity whimper and start to wake up. "Hey there. Are you okay?" I ask her, putting on the facade. "I'm okay. Just my side hurts," she softly says, sitting up. I push her back down. "No. Sleep," I say and she sighs, nodding. "I don't want to sleep... I don't want to see those... things again," she mumbles. "It's okay. I'm right here. I won't let anything happen," I say, smiling at her and she bites her lip. "Can you take me to the hospital?" she says and I hold back a growl and nod, helping her up. We walk to the hospital and I set her in a wheelchair. She was starting to shake lightly and I smile. I was making her see things again. "I.. I need to see Nia" she says and I sigh. "I don't think that's the best idea," a nurse says, who came running to us. "We need to get both her and Nia to a psych ward," the nurse says. "Why?" I ask, feigning concern. "Nia has been seeing things. And from what I can see, I assume Serenity has as well," the nurse says, reaching for Serenity. "Don't fucking touch me!" she screams as the nurse shoves me back and doctors surround Serenity. I see Nia, who was tied down to a table and was thrashing around as well. Serenity sees her and jumps up, hitting and clawing the doctors. "Nia!" she yells as a doctor then injects her with a needle. She gasps, turning around. "You fucking asshole," she slurs as she passed out in his arms. They take both girls to the psych ward and direct me out of the hospital. I smile, seeing how much my little corruption affected Serenity. Then I laugh, thinking of all the things Abacus was doing to Nia. We were truly evil.
