"Nutella thief" I heard inmy ear and I relaxed. The hand was removed from my eyes and it was Jason. I hit him in the chest lightly. "Prick! Oh my cheese I thought it was a creep... Well... I wasn't wrong" I chuckled. "Shut up you were so scared" Jason laughed.
I rolled my eyes, "So what are your plan while you're not performing?" I asked, hella bored. "Practise for the show" he shrugged. "I'm gonna find All Time Low" I said. "I'm gonna go find Big Gay Al" Jason said, using Alex's nickname. "Later loser" I said. "Later thief" he said. The rest of the day I spent with ATL and Adam (Elmakias). I even got to use Adam's camera! I got some great pictures of Cheslea Grin while they played. I gave the camera back to Adam.
"I'm gonna go into the crowd!" I shouted to the guys beside me. "OK!" they shouted back. I ran to the crowd and got Alex's attention. I made the 'Wall Of Death' movement and he nodded. "We're gonna have Jason do some riffs, everyone else, fucking wall of death!" Alex shouted and made the gesture. Everyone chose a side and Jason played. Pablo joined in on drums and when it all dropped, we ran.
After their set I came out with a little blood on my lip, at least it wasn't my nose- thank God. Luckily I only had my tongue piercing in, otherwise, my lip would be worse. What's also lucky is that I wasn't wearing white... Someone else's blood was on me. Eh, oh well.
"Holy shit you're Austin Carlile's daughter, right?" a guy asked. He looked about a year younger than me. "Yeah" I said. "That's cool, I'm Damien" he said. "Alice" I smiled back. "Can I get your number?" he asked with his hands in his black skinny jean pockets with a cute smile on his face. "Sure" I said and he handed me his phone, which, I added my number to. "Cool, thanks, see you around I guess" he said with a smile and waked away.
I met up with my dad later on at the bus. "Dad guess what?" I said. "You're silly and I'm not" he said. "Daaad" I groaned, making him chuckle. "Alright, what?" he asked. "I got a cute guys number" I smiled. Dad narrowed his eyes playfully at me. "No dating until you're 40, you know the rules" he grinned. "Says the man who's not even 30 and has a kid" I grinned back. "Yeah, yeah, whatever" he said rolling his eyes playfully as he got some food.
"The guy was all like, 'holy shit you're Austin Carlile's daughter, right?' and then we ended up swappng numbers. The look on his face when" I said, but dad cut me off. "If that's the first thing he's asking then I'm not sure he's... I don't know... Just not the best guy to give your number to, Ace" dad said. "I guess, we'll see how it goes" I said with a shrug. Dad patted my head, "And if he's a jerk I will punch him in the face and get Alan to give him a wedgie" dad said. "Why make Alan give him a wedgie?" I asked. Dad went wide eyed, "Have you ever gotten a wedgie from Alan?" he asked.
I shook my head no, "Then you're lucky" dad grinned and shook my shoulders slightly. "We're staying just one more day, right?" I asked. "Yep then we're off to the next venue" he confirmed. "Awesome" I said and got cleaned up. It was now late afternoon, everyone had gone home, but it was a great first day. Tomorrow I'm probably gonna get some merch. I got changed and lazed around the bus, playing x-box games with the guys. "Alright, we should all get to bed now; it's ten" dad said. Wow, time went fast.
I got into bed happily, ready for a good night's sleep. I got nice and cosy and shut my eyes; falling asleep fast, probably because it was a big day... But at two in the morning I woke up with sore eyes and wet cheeks. I had been crying, I had a bad dream. You know those dreams where when you wake up you can't remember anything? Well that was what my dream was.
I crawled out of my bunk and off the bus, thought the door made some noise, no one noticed. I knocked on a bus window and waited by the door.
