Freedom

Look how times the time flies

It seems like the year had just begun

And what a wonderful time it was

Our awkward introductions

Our uneasy stares

Our weird ways of trying to fit in

What a time that was

Our first classes

So quiet you could hear a mouse

But we slowly warmed up

And it was quite a ruckus

Food fights in the lunchroom

Sauce in our hair

Fries on the hanging lights

Pools of milk

The poor lunch ladies

Our first trips

How crazy we was

Unable to control ourselves

The looks on the teachers faces

What time it was

But now it's over, at least for now

School will be out

We'll be away

No class periods spent talking

No gym periods to skip

No science lab to sleep in

And even though I know it won't be long before we're together again

It will still be something to handle

But guess what?

We're free!

No more rules

No dress codes

Just fun in the sun

Exploring the fields

And hiking up hills

I know you won't be here,

Enjoy your family my dear

Be happy cause we got freedom

Freedom to do what ever we want
