Afternoon--

The prince attends to dinner, where his parents are waiting. They exchange a few words throughout the appetizer, topics like: how are your classes, how have you been today, and did you have good night's sleep? The main course comes and the king, queen, princesses, and prince eat at a leisurely pace again. A courier comes in holding a letter out to each of the royalty. They all exclaim about what will be in their letters. They all open their letters together and read them quietly. Then the discussion begins. They all talk about what they feel like what they want to that they got in their letters. The older of the princesses is talking about how much a new horse that she thinks is gorgeous costs. The other princess is talking about how smitten she is with love about a smithie's son. The prince's letter was talking about new smithies in the city and what type of wonders they make. They are all begging their parents for gold to go buy some stuff like the horse, gifts for the smithie's son, and wonders of metal from the smithies. The king and queen give them quite a few coin to go spend on what they wish.

They all go their seperate ways either to the stables or smithie county. The prince buys a few new belt buckles that are all decorated with birds. He also gets a few new ideas for a crown design he wants to have a smithie make. He then wanders into the weaver's county and looks at all of the fabulous fabrics hung up for display or to dry. He buys a few yards of fabric to have the cobbler implement into some of his less comfotable shoes. He is almost out of coin then and decides to buy a gift for his parents. He goes into the smithie county again and buys another belt buckle for the king. For the queen though, he buys a new mantle piece for the hearth in the dining hall.

He looks into the west and sees that the sun is but half an hour until supper. He calls a carriage and uses the last of his coin to get back to the palace.
