CHAPITRE SIX

NATALIA GRACE-SUMMERS WAS HIDING SOMETHING, that's all Stiles Stilinski knew. Each time she had interacted with him she'd stare off in another area and avoid eye contact with him. The young boy had always been suspicious of her ever since she arrived to the small town named Beacon Hills. But now, with all the sudden events happening he had more of a reason to suspect her of some sort of evilness

His eyes squinted at her approaching figure in accusation while hers replied with a roll. She tended to do that a lot near the freckled Stilinski. "What now, Stiles." Her voice laced with slight annoyance. She gave him the meanest glare she could muster up to cover any traces of guilt she might have which caused the boy in question to flinch at her harsh tone. "N-nothing." He stuttered out in nervousness and watched as she switched her attention to Scott and Kira.

Ever since her small unexpected meeting with Kira's mom and Derek, Natalia had isolated herself a bit from the pack namely the teen alpha and his best friend. Despite the secret rendez-vous she had been having with the older kitsune, the woman had been adamant on making sure her daughter was not involved. This added more pressure onto Natalia, not only would she be lying to her newly made friends but to her closest one as well.

The kitsune gave her friend a small smile in greeting causing Natalia's slight glare to soften. She gave the couple a soft smile while Stiles gave an appalled look muttering about how bias her attitude towards him was. "Are you guys sure about tomorrow?" The raven-haired girl wanted them to cancel whatever idiotic plan they had stormed up against the Oni but Scott seemed so determined. Scott would be staying at his place with Kira waiting for the Oni to try and 'attack'. "Yeah, we have to be." The wolf replied.

Natalia's lips pursed in frustration, reluctantly nodding her head in agreement. Despite everything they did being reckless and stupid, it gave her more time to brainstorm ideas with the Yukimura woman. "Okay, well..." Her voice trailed off as she watched Stiles from the corner of her eye. The bell rung signaling the start of class in five minutes before she could venture off to her first period her phone vibrated.

Loft. After school.

"Jesus there's so many stairs." Natalia muttered to her herself when she finally arrived at the entry way. The door swung revealing a man that looked to be in his 30s, though she had never seen before. He looked down with a smirk as if he knew something she did not while she looked up with irritation. "Derek there's a teenage girl here to see you!" He yelled out causing her to wince at his volume. This must be the annoying murderous uncle she's heard so much about, Peter, her lips pursed in agitation at the thought.

"Alright, move it old man." She bumped his shoulders while passing him as he stood there in surprise at her blunt tone. Her feet carried her to the middle of the loft, eyes traveling around the space. She had only seen it when there were drunk teenagers everywhere and in the dark. This was her first time seeing it in daylight, it was empty aside from it's basics such as a couch or coffee table. The bareness made the space look even bigger than it already was, with little to no  personal touches that could hint to it being lived in. She guessed Derek wasn't one for interior decorating, he just needed a place that was secluded and useful.

She plopped down on the couch and kicked her feet onto the coffee table resulting in a dirty look thrown her way from sweet uncle Peter. An eyebrow shot up at him in question while she waited for Derek to make his grand appearance. If he didn't come any sooner she was sure the two supernatural creatures would end up in a verbal dispute, it was something she already tended to do with Stiles.

"Let's start with how in the hell you knew about the nogitsune." Derek's voice sounded through out the whole loft as he started his way over to the teen. He looked at both Peter and the Summers girl in annoyance for two different reasons. Peter, cause he was in his living space again with no invitation, and Natalia because her feet were boosted up on his coffee table making herself at home.

"These eyes aren't just for turning people to stone." She looked over at him as her eyes shifted from a dark brown to green slits in the middle. He was transfixed and felt as if he couldn't look away from her. "Now that's just creepy." Peter's comment broke the two's staring contest, they both looked over at him with exasperation. He tended to annoy people easily and Natalia wasn't an exception from that. The older Hale's hands shot out in mock surrender from the annoyed glare he had just received. "Okay, I'll just shut up."
