CHAPITRE SEPT

"THEY KNOW." NATALIA'S VOICE RESONATED through the Summers' household. Mrs.Yukimura looked at the teen, her facial expression pulled into a slight grimace. It had been a few days and shit had already hit the fan. Stiles had gone missing on multiple occasions  resulting in the pack  finding out about the young boy being possessed by a dark kitsune. "We'll have to be more careful now." Natalia continued with her speech as she slide towards the seat across from the other supernatural creature. "I think the fox is outwitting him."

"We'll just have to gain an upper hand." The older woman replied as she watched the teen with cautious eyes, the older woman could easily tell how much these past few days had been affecting Natalia, the teen's eyes screamed lack of sleep. "Your mother left for work, you should go to school." She laid a gentle hand on the younger supernatural's shoulder in an effort to calm her down. Natalia's eyes darted over to the clock on the microwave, her lips stretched into a thin line.

"I've already missed half the day, I'm going to go visit my mom. See if she can figure out a way to get rid of the nogitsune without having to harm Stiles." Before the Yukimura woman could protest, the teenage girl had already gotten up from her seat and made her way towards the exit. Her hand paused at the door handle when she heard the older woman speak up. "Natalia, I once was in your shoes. I hope you do not make the same mistake I had many years ago." There was a pregnant silence between the two, the raven-haired teen could hear the solemn tone which left her with a huge decision to way in on. Would she actually be able to kill Stiles?

When the young Summers arrived at the police station, a dreadful feeling washed over her. It felt as if she knew something bad were to happen today but the teen shook it off as just nervousness from her talk with the Yukimura woman this early afternoon. Despite the twisted feeling at the pit of her stomach, the raven haired girl exited the safety of her car passing the main desk and shooting the woman a smile. The teen walked over to her mother's desk and plopped down on it's adjacent chair.

"Aren't you supposed to be in school?" She could hear the amusement in her voice as the older woman questioned her without looking away from her paper work. Natalia gave her mom a sheepish grin, these past nights her mind has been plagued with night terrors regarding Beacon Hills very own Stiles Stilinski and his fate that rested upon her hands. The teen put up a tough act but behind all her actions she drowned in guilt, sorrow, and loneliness.

Diana-Grace Summers finally moved her attention from the scattered papers on her desk to her suffering daughter when she noted the quietness after her question. There was a tiredness in both Natalia's physique and appearance, probably from the sleepless nights and stressful days. "You look like shit." The older woman finally commented with slight jest. Natalia gave a smirk in response, though Diana could feel the lack of emotion from it. "Thanks, just what every daughter wants to hear." The two Summers ladies shared a laugh as the mother laid a comforting hand on top of the teen's.

"You know you can talk to me." Natalia looked down at their, now, intertwined hands with a sad smile. "Yeah, I know." Just the reassurance of her mom being there for her no matter what brought her depleted emotions up. She could always count on Diana-Grace Summers in some way, they had been there for each other ever since she could remember. "Alright, enough sadness for today. I brought you lunch too." Natalia spoke with enthusiasm as a smile worked it's way onto her mother's face.

"Thank goodness." Diana's stomach grumbled at the smell of food, the two raven-haired ladies laughed and began to discuss anything that didn't involve the supernatural. It was a nice distraction for the teenage girl despite the bad feeling that still resided at the back of her head. That feeling only seemed to intensify as the time ticked on and her phone continued to buzz with persistent calls and messages."You should answer that." Her mom finally said after the fifth attempt of whoever was calling.

Natalia rolled her eyes but picked up the phone, she began to move away from her seat for more privacy. "Hello?" Her voice had a hint of annoyance because of the name that had popped up, she could never have a day to herself. "Natalia! Thank goodness." Scott's voice rang through her ear. "Where are you?" His question sounded urgent which caused the Summers' stomach to twist in anticipation. "Um...the police station? Scott, what's going on?"

There was a long pause causing an uneasy feeling to settle, there was panic in the background on Scott's end. Her eyebrows scrunched in confusion until Derek's voice sounded for everyone to get down before her body flew from where she stood. The police station shook in impact from the bomb that had just exploded. There was a consistent pounding in Natalia's head and a continuous ringing in her ears, the whole entire building was set in chaos and destruction.

Natalia's vision had been constantly fading in and out, she was fighting to stay awake. Her mind was flooded with concern for her mother who she was no longer near to due to the explosion. By the time Scott had arrived with Stiles, the raven haired teen had already begun to slip into darkness. "My daughter, Scott please, my daughter." Diana's eyes darted across to the younger Summers with tears. "It's too late for me, help Nat." The older woman knew her time was up, she was losing too much blood but it didn't matter her priority was making she her only child made it out alive.

The young wolf hesitated in his steps, he did not want to leave the poor woman dying alone but she kept persisting that he tends to Natalia first. With huge reluctance his body finally gave in as he moved towards the only Summers left while Stiles followed. "Can you do something? Take her pain? Anything to make it easier?" The Stilinski teen questioned while they watched her face crumple up in discomfort. Scott's hand instantly latched onto Natalia's taking away any agony she had felt. As the teen focused on the barely responsive girl, Stiles stood back with a wide smirk on his face. Not only had the nogitsune gotten Scott to take so much pain from others, he had also eliminated the threat that was Natalia-Grace Summers.
