Prologue: I hate this guy

Ami
What am I doing? Why am I in the middle of a huge battle while having to take care of vain and stupid over there? Heck, how did this happen to have him in my life? He's not even helping, all he's doing is cowering and protecting himself.
Worst. Assistant. Ever.

Now, I know I just sound mean and rude, but it's the cruel truth. A jock who knows my secret is cowering and worrying  about his hair than helping me. To be honest, in the beginning I found this entertaining and amusing, but this is now getting ridiculous. I'm over here fighting to save our asses and he's there doing nothing. Why did he take this job in the first place?! Oh wait; its my fault.

Well enough of me bickering, I better go and defeat this monster and not worry about Prince Charming over there.

I sigh in annoyance and outstretch my hand and out of thin air I whip out my two Faith Katana's. I steady myself in a running stance and take a deep breath.

Okay, Ami. You can do this. Its weakness is the shoulder. You can totally defeat this thing. I hear it surge out a monstrous scream and ready to charge at me. I look up at the purple bat-like monster, seeing its drool dangling from its mouth. I smirk and charge in a speed that no human or Cheetah can ever reach. I then raise my two katana's and slash through the monster's shoulder, jumping behind it and landing on the ground perfectly to not get its goop on me. I then hear a staticky sound and turn around to see the monster getting obliterated and turn into ash. Taylor looks up from his cowering stance and quickly goes over to me.

"So is it gone? Are we not dead?" He asks me.
I roll my eyes and punch his arm," Well, you are not dead. I was nearly killed twice, you asshole." I retorted back.
"Ow! What the fuck was that for?!" He yells in pain.
"That's your punishment for doing nothing." I said.
He rubbed his arm and mumble cuss words at me and started walking to the floating gateway portal. I sigh and ran up to him to catch up. Man, I am tired.

"So can you help me with the physics homework that is gonna be due tomorrow?" He asks me giving me his puppy face. I look at him with an incredulous look and scoff, " Taylor, did you not do anything this whole week for it?!" He shrugs and gives me a sly smile. "Well, you are my tutor, and you promise to help me or else I'll tell everyone that you're a super hero." He replied back. I groan as I activated the portal and step inside, waiting for the asshole to also come in. I wouldn't mind stranding him here.

"Okay, one; I am not a superhero. I am a guardian. Someone who has magical powers. Two, I did not promise to help you. I was stated to help you from your parents and mine so don't you fucking threaten me or I'll become your worse nightmare." I angrily let out. He chuckles and puts his hands up in surrender," Alright. Chill Ami, I was kidding." He smirks looking at me. I let out a frustrated scream and press the button located in the gate to take us home. I seriously, seriously hate this guy.

Hate him.
