Maybe, hopefully, after a few more weeks, they would see that it was for the best, for all parties involved.

Jack's POV
I was starting to get nervous as we were all getting ready for Sonny to show up. I think the other boys could tell, too. Me and Brook had talked about it the night before, and I knew he was super excited about it, so I tried to bite down my nervousness, but I was doing a pretty bad job of it.

Andy knew Sonny from a few years back, so he was excited for Sonny to show up, too. It was like being reunited with your childhood friend. I honestly didn't really know how Rye was feeling about it. I hadn't thought to ask him about it, and he never really showed it.

I'm not really sure why I was so nervous about Sonny coming. We had all texted with him and face timed him before hand, obviously. We'd all gotten along with him really well. He was super talented. He already knew the ins and outs of being a boyband member. Really, he was the perfect candidate as a trialist, but I was still freakishly uneasy about the whole situation.

I genuinely don't understand why my brain was so shaken up about it. If I could've, I would've turned off all my anxiety about the situation, but, unfortunately, that was not an option.

Andy's POV
I could almost feel the nervousness and unease coming off of Jack as we waited for Sonny to come. We were about to start vlogging. Robbie was getting the camera ready, and I decided to take that as my opportunity to talk to him about it.

I grabbed Jack's arm and pulled him to the other room. "What's going on?" I asked him.

"Umm. We're getting ready for Sonny to come?"

"Don't play dumb, Jack. What's bothering you?"

"I don't know," he said.

"Jack!" I snapped.

"Seriously, Andy. I don't know what's wrong. I'm just really nervous," he said.

"Why though?" I asked.

"I. Dont. Know." I could physically see the frustration, with both me and himself, on his face.

"Okay. Is it about Sonny coming?" I tried.

"I think?"

"Well I know this probably won't help, but I know him already. We all have gotten to know him a little. So it's not like he's a stranger," I told him.

"I know that. But I've never met him before. I think that's the problem. Ever since I was little, whenever I'm around new people I just get upset and anxious," he started to explain.

"No, I get it. New people are sometimes hard to get used to. And Mikey just left and it's a lot of change."

"Yeah."

"Have you talked to Brook about it, yet?" I asked him.

"No," he looked down at the floor. "It's just, he's been so excited about Sonny coming and I don't want to ruin it for him because he has to worry about me."

"Okay. But he's your boyfriend. He'll underst-"

"JACK? ANDY? VLOG TIME!" Rye shouted through the house. I rolled my eyes. He's adorable. But loud. Very loud. I looked at Jack and nodded toward the door. He nodded his head yes and we made our way down to the kitchen.

While we waited for Sonny to actually show up, we just introduced the vlog, telling the roadies that we had a new trialist coming and all that. Jack seemed to be calming down a little bit, being able to hear the rest of us talk about it.

All that went down the drain once the car pulled up outside. We all went out to greet Sonny and his family. Jack carried Brook to them on his back, since he didn't have shoes on, and gave the fans a cute Jacklyn moment on the vlog.

We all said our hellos and went inside. We started talking to Sonny a bit, and I saw Jack start to go off into his mind. He wasn't paying any attention to the conversation, or to the vlog, and I could practically see his mind spinning and going into overdrive.

I stood over near him and tapped on the counter, where he was sitting, to get his attention. He looked up and made eye contact with me. I gave him a questioning look and he nodded, just slightly. I moved closer to him and he wrapped his arms around my shoulders, fairly tightly.

I knew his mind was going down its rabbit hole, which was, in turn making him really anxious. My hope was that me being there close to him would help calm his nerves a little.

He ended up kissing my cheek, in a friendly way of course. But when we both saw Rye and Brook glaring at us, out of view of the vlog, we pulled away.

We decided to just talk to Sonny and his family more about the band, and how the trialing process worked, and such.

Brook's POV
Sonny had gone to the bathroom, and everyone was sitting, quiet, in the kitchen. I decided to take that as my opportunity to talk to Jack, as he'd seemed quite off for most of the day.

He was sitting on the counter top, so I walked over and put my hands on his knees. He seemed like he was lost in thought, and he didn't realize I was there at first. I leaned forward, until my forehead was touching his, which did get his attention.

He wrapped his arms around my neck and buried his head into my shoulder. I realized why he'd been so close with Andy today. He'd needed comfort, and I, his boyfriend, was too blind to see it. I wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled him closer, wanting to give him the comfort he needed.

Soon enough, Sonny came back, and we had to start the vlog again. I moved away from my boyfriend, but sat next to him so I could still be near him.

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. We got Sonny mostly settled in and filmed a few things for the vlog. Jack seemed like he was getting at least a little more comfortable around Sonny, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that he was avoiding me.
