Hatake Kakashi x Reader (Naruto)

Genre: Fluff

I silently entered the house, taking off my shoes in the process. I look around the silent home, no signs of life was around. I walked towards his room, opening the door, he was there, on the bed with his arm covering his eyes.

I rolled my eyes at him, as I walked towards him. Standing at the side of the bed, I lift my right leg high and slammed it down, hitting his stomach with my ankle. He groaned at the impact as he clutched his stomach.

"I-is t-t-that a-a-any w-way t-to say hello?" He asked as he groaned and tried to endure the pain, I scoffed at him. "Oh please. I would've wake you up in a gentler way if it wasn't for the fact that you were faking of being asleep cause you were busy reading Jaraiya-sensei's books."

Looking down at the bottom of the bed, there were books carelessly tucked away. It looks like 'someone' tried to hide it away. I turned to glare at him. "I'm burning these." I muttered deadly, he sat right up as he look at me with wide eye (well, he needs to cover his sharingan) and sweat was dropping from his forehead.

"W-wait!" He said as I sighed and rubbed my temples. "Tell you what, I'll forget to burn these if you do all the house chores for the week." I said as I went to the wardrobe and took out a comfy shirt and shorts. "You just got back from the mission?" He asked as he was now getting the books below.

"Yeah." I answered as I went in the bath for a quick shower. Covering myself with a towel, I quickly put on the comfy clothes as I wrapped the towel on my hair. Coming out, Kakashi was nowhere in sight.

Sighing, I stare at the bed. It was so tempting, that when I sat down, I immediately laid back on the bed and slept. I was disturb when something was poking me on the cheek. I swayed my hand in front of me to get it to stop but it wouldn't.

Finally opening my eyes, I saw the white haired male with his closed eye, but I knew he was smiling beneath the mask he is wearing. "Dinner's ready." He said as I groaned and nodded. Yawning as I sat up, I stretched before I rubbed my eyes. "What time is it?" I asked.

Kakashi looked at the clock beside the bed. "A quarter to 8. Was the mission that hard for you to sleep for like 14 hours?" He joked as I glared at him and got off from the bed. "Let's go eat dinner." I quietly said as I went down stairs to the kitchen. "H-hey! Are you mad?" He asked as I sat down on the chair, the table was filled with plates full of food.

I put my elbow on the table's surface and rested my cheek on the palm of my hand. "No. I'm just extremely tired." I muttered as Kakashi place a bowl full of rice in front of me. "The mission was a lot harder than I thought." I continued as I picked up my chopsticks and began eating.

"Lady Tsunade should've made it an S rank mission rather than a A rank." I mumbled. As I shoved rice in my mouth. Kakashi just hummed. My headache coming back again, making me sigh.

After I finished eating, I went to lay down on the sofa while Kakashi was washing the dishes for me. My headache began to worsen as I groaned and tried to ignore it and tried to take a nap. But it was still there. I massaged my temples a bit and the pain reduced a bit. I sighed as I stared at the ceiling boredly, trying to ignore the ache. When I felt fingers on my temples and massaging them.

I moved my head up a bit and saw Kakashi, smiling at me without his mask. He truly looks so handsome without it. I smiled back at him and closed my eyes, relaxing to the feeling of relief. The headache was going away and sleep was consuming me again.

I yawned as I relaxed more. "Thank you for today, Kakashi." I muttered as I tried to stay awake. He chuckled as I felt his lips on my forehead. "Anything for you, sweetheart." He said. I giggled at him. "That's supposed to be my line." I said as I yawned.

He just chuckled as I smiled. "G'night, Kakashi." I muttered softly as I finally give in to the sleepiness. Kakashi still massaged my temples to make me have a good night's rest.

Third Person P.O.V

Kakashi stopped massaging her temples as he smiled at the young woman who was sleeping on the couch. "You had done so much for me..... I should also repay you back all the kindness and love that you have shown me." Kakashi whispered, remembering his memories of his youth with the young woman.

(Y/N) was just a normal girl. Her parents were killed when they were sent to go on a mission, making (Y/N) a orphan at the age of 7. Her parents and Kakashi's parents were very good friends and often leave her in the care of the Hatake household if (Y/n)'s parents ever go on a mission.

She was adopted into the family of the Hatakes and was enrolled in the ninja academy. Like Kakashi, she was a talented and smart girl. And she has a special chakra. Her ability is called "Flower-art style" and it is a combination of earth and water chakra.

It was all going so well. Happy and bright. But then, the incident happened and Kakashi became cold to her. She knew he was hurting so she tried her best to cheer him up but he just brush her off but she still stayed by his side.

Then, another incident took place that took Kakashi's teammate, Obito's, life. It was the time of the second great ninja world and (Y/N) was hella worried about him. She was waiting for Kakashi at the house when he came home, a clear scar on his eye. She hugged him tight as she cried loudly, happy that he was home and safe.

When Kakashi saw how (Y/N) cried for him, he felt guilty. He brought her closer to him as he also silently cried. On that day, he made a promise to himself. He promised to protect this girl, along with Rin, with all of his might and power. Even if it cause him his life.

"I love you." Kakashi softly whispered as he laid and tuck the young woman in bed as he went to his side of the bed. He brought her closer to him as he stroke her hair, smiling at the happiness he felt.
