———————————————————————— Chapter 1: The Fire Raiders of Science! ———————————————————————— "Anyone's capable of great good and great evil" ———————————————————————— "Come on Aang!" Katara yelled, grinning widely. She was wearing a traditional kimono, but unlike her usual attire it flared out in white lace- and was made of silk. "We don't want to be late for Zuko's wedding !" A bored , freshly shaven boy walked a few feet behind the girl ,giving her questionable eyes.
"You know we would've gotten there faster if we took Appa," the brown skinned girl rolled her eyes at his reply, swiftly turning around. Her Hand flew to her hip and the wrath of hell was in her eyes. "I-I mean, walking is the more formal and more glamorous way!" He shouted running beside her. As they walked, the forest turned to streets, and the streets to the fancy residence of the new fire lord. 'I guess it's like a good ankle exercise!'
"Aang , Katara !" Toph's voice yelled, as the gate to the castle like building went flying by.
"Damnit Toph!" The man of the hits voice echoed behind hers, "you know those aren't cheap," he grumbled beside her.
"Well If your men opened it faster I wouldn't have had to open it myself, now wouldn't I Fire fist?!" The pair stood in front bickering like a married couple.
"You know I'm surprised they aren't the ones getting married" Aang whispered to a nodding Katara. As marriage filled his head he glanced around in a panic.
Shoot! She's going to kill me!
"I-ugh um K-Katara, I forgot it" she hummed looking at him questionably.
"Forgot what" she grunted
"The gift"
"The gift .. you mean the one I traveled three days to get , four paychecks to make , and reminded you to grab six times ?" She said smiling
"Yes?" He said letting a nervous smile cross over his face.
"WELL YOU BETTER GO GET IT , WE ONLY HAVE TWO HOURS TILL IT STARTS !" She yelled in his ear, poking her finger into his chest. "I can't believe that boy" she muttered to herself at his zooming figure.
"H-hey where are you going?" Toph and Zuko yelled in unison at the dust trail Aang was leaving
"B-BATHROOM" The avater yelled back zooming off into the distance.
"What can I say , he only can go in his own home?" Katara laughed awkwardly covering for his lie.

'God she can be scary!' A loud yawn came out his mouth as he looked up into the sky at the shining stars. "But at least the forest is nice , even if it smells funny" he inhaled sharply catching the faint scent of fire and charcoal. 'I wonder if something bad is gonna happen?' Shaking his head , he pushed back all the negative thoughts ending with the rational reasoning that the forest was in the FIRE nation.
CRACK !
The sound of a stick snapping sent Aang morphing a wave of air into the direction of the noise . Smacking a small cat owl onto it's back. "Oh no! I'm sorry Cat owl!? I didn't see you , are you alright !" The boy yelled hovering over its little body, his pervious paranoia leaving him wide open. Without warning the Cat owl launched upward, clawing at Aangs head. Latching its talons onto his ears and peek attached to the boys noise. "AHHHHHHH CAT OWL I SWEAR I DIDNT MEAN TOO!" The bald boy yelled sliding his glider onto his back and his hands upwards to grab at the rodents flapping wings. Similar to the first surprise three fire balls blasted towards the 15 year old. His eyes widened in surprise at the attack, logically backflipping and squeezing the bird like mammal to his face . Briefly thinking , he continued to dodge random fire attacked. 'If you want to be fried turkey dinner be my guest!' He thought throwing the cat owl into the sky , allowing it to fly off before it got hurt.
"Ellenor !" A deep voice yelled as a man the size of a giant latched onto Aangs hands, "now use it ! Use the spell" confused Aang thrashed around , rolling under the big mans legs and kneeing him in the groin. Causing Aangs hands to be freed. "Damnit !"
"Keep him still and I will brother!" The four cultist looking people circled him. Carefully the bald boy held up his hands.
"What is this about ! We are in a treaty now , there is no need to kill the avater guys ! I don't want to hurt anybody." He spoke strongly waving his hands dramatically. Fire launched at his head, his neck snapped towards the left allowing it to fly past his ear. "Okay or not, but why are y'all attacking ?"
"That's just it ! You- you peasants think y'all can hold a candle to fire benders" courses or approve rang out throw the forest as six more members appeared. " the fire nation was great, was good , then you came along ! Many of us lost our reputation, status, and homes !" She yelled forming foreign body style.
"I'm sorry, but this isn't going to end how you want it, the old fire nation was nothing but selfish and cruel. Many family's lost not only their homes but their lives" the avater spit out , kicking out his own fire as multiple followers attacked him. One by one he threw them off with ease. "You guys this is pointless" he kicked another flinging the man into another.
"Oh but you haven't even seen the surprise !" She looked behind her "now Casteal !" A woman chanting did various body forms before releasing a bluish purple flame. "An experimental bender, one made from fire splitting the Atoms of the air themselves " the lady- Casteal , let out a painful scream as her arms bursted with flames hurting herself.
'That's got to hurt ..'
"Yes it might require a sacrifice, but it's worth it . For Months we have waited but now we can do it .. "
"Y-your making her kill herself!" Aang yelled angered by their naive actions, "you can't kill me"
"Your right .. and if we can't kill you. Then we will remove you !" She stepped out the way , allowing the girl to charge towards Aang, the discorded flames latched around him like a cage. Rips through the sky and air accrued, and Casteal fell. The light only spread around Aang , and he thrashed. His heart was thumping wildly as thoughts of his friends lasted through his mind.
"W-WHAT DID YOU DO !" He shouted, feeling a sensation of being suffocated set in.
"Bye , bye avater" , her voice began to fade off like a dream.
'K-Katara, I couldn't bring the rings you worked so hard on'
her smiling face appeared in his view , slowly disappearing into white nothing.
'I'm sorry'
