"You came!"
The star brightened as he saw
the lady appear onto her balcony,
pleased she came to see it.
Her eyes saw the star in all
its bright shimmering glory,
as she smiled sweetly
towards it.
"I wish you could talk,
I could truly use someone right now"
she spoke fidgeting with her fingers
which rested on the railings.
"I wish I could talk as well ..someday I will"
At the corner of her eye,
a gorgeous
shooting star flew
across the night sky,
as a gasp escaped her mouth.
She clasped her hands together,
holding them tightly
as she shut her eyes
and wished for that one special thing.
"I wish to never be alone"
