It was astar.
The star she's been confiding all her secrets too, admiring its elegant glow, was hovering in front of her.
It twinkled, as she reached forward, wanting to graze it.
The orb twitched backwards, as her hand skimmed the cozy figure. She could however feel it's warmth on the tip of her pale fingers.
"I won't harm you, I'm sorry I frightened you" she spoke in a delicate voice indicating she implied no harm.
Hesitantly, it scampered near her very slowly.
She reached and managed to touch the star, a bewildered smile appeared on her glowing face watching in astonishment.
It felt like a dream, and she was afraid she'd wake any minute and realize it wasn't real.
Pinching her arm she flinched at the sting, her eyes enlarged as she looked back at the star with furrowed brows.
"It's not a dream?"
The star twinkled, as if answering to her question, holding out her hands she forwarded them towards the glowing star wanting it to rest in her palms.
This time, With less hesitation it made its way onto her hands gracefully.
A broad smile lifted her lips upwards as she watched how it calmly sat there.
"You should return back home," she said, looking up at the sky.
She brought her hands towards her face, planting a gentle kiss on the warm star.
It's light twinkled to its full ability, the star leaped out of her hands and flew around her in circles, sprinkling its stardust atop of her head and body.
She chuckled at the weird ticklish sensation, and what occurred next made her freeze.
The star came to confront her, leaning in, it landed a kiss on top of her sweet little nose.
