The young lady noticed, That the star that shone brighter than all others.
Was no longer there.
She looked above and beyond, and unfortunately could not find it's enchanting sparkle by the midnight moon.
Grabbing a seat on one of the chairs she placed on her balcony, she closed her eyes and leaned against it, resting her exhausted eyes.
"hi"
Submerging in the darkness of pure fatigue, she heard a faint voice greet her.
It sounded celestial - dreamy and so vague, she believed it was her mind playing tricks with her, while she was in the midst of wandering into her dream land.
The last few seconds of consciousness vanished as she had now entered into sleep.
His brown orbs watched her carefully as her head slanted to the side in her slumber. Carefully, he reached his arm towards her cheek which was covered by her strawberry blonde hair.
Tenderly, he set the strands of hair behind her ear, he smiled, his eyes forming into half-moon crescents.
He hovered ever so gently, As stardust left a trail behind him.
He was finally human.
Well, not quite a human.
"I will return tomorrow, please be here"
He whispered near her ear, she shifted in her sleep resulting in him to back away.
Quietly, he hovered over her, his face coming closer by the second towards her, as he planted a glittery kiss on top of her nose.
His sparkle was mildly scattered on her nose, making it shimmer in the moonlight. He looked back at her, once more, a sweet smiled appearing on his lips as he muttered a goodbye.
