Sid sat alone in his room. He pouted and pouted for hours. Eventually, he stalked down the stairs and opened his front door to be greeted by an empty forest. The trees were scorched and possessed no life.
He walked away from his forest until he came across a cow. "Perfect," he mumbled, dragging her by the utters, where milk spewed from. Her cries echoed through the empty plain. "Shush!"
He brought the cow to his castle. Inside, he pulled a knife on her, slicing her soft piebald skin. He poured the gushing blood neatly into an empty wine bottle, scooping it all up. Sighing, he harvested all the blood he needed to survive.
"Maybe I could sell its meat and organs down at the market."
He carved her organs out delicately and placed them in saran wrap. He carefully cut out chunks of meat for the perfect cuts. He intended to make the most profit off the cow.
He walked towards the market, trying to seem as normal as possible drinking his 'wine' straight from the bottle. He quickly put together a stand. Satisfied, he placed the goods on the table.
People came and went, buying liver bits and fillets. Each person paid rather generously and left happily with their cut.
He packed up once he sold every last unwanted slice of meat. Starting towards his castle, something felt off. There was a person here.
He caught sight of a beautiful woman with lemon yellow skin and grapefruit orange hair. She was an absolutely captivating citrus lady. Her skin tone also matched Sid's, it was destiny.
He snapped out of his trance from her fruity ways. He stomped towards her, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY FOREST?!"
The woman winced, stepping backward, tangling her leg with his. He soon came to realize he was lying right on top of her. His hand somewhere that would probably then get him kicked all the way to next week.
"I'M SORRY!" She squirmed underneath him. "I just needed a job and I wanted to see if anyone lived in that- in that castle, bu-but I guess you do.. sir. I would like to be your maid if you'd like."
He smiled. His smile was uglier than a slippery, rotting eel corpse covered with maggots and worms. "Of course I could use a maid! Follow me."
"Oh, thank you so much!"
