🔮Asra x Reader - Protective🔮

You felt a pair of arms wrap around you.

"H-huh..?" You groaned and opened your eyes from your slumber.

"Shhhh... It's just me~" You heard a familiar voice whisper into your ear, giving your forehead a quick peck.

It was Asra. He must have made it back from one of his journeys. Asra had gotten into bed with you and snuggled you until you fell asleep, which was not too long after he had accidentally woken you up. He dozed off not long after you.

"Morning!" You felt something slither up your arm. It was Faust.

"Why good morning to you too, Faust!" You said smiling at her bopping your noses together.

You smelt a mouthwatering sent coming from downstairs. You remembered that Asra had made it home last night. Excited, you ran downstairs to be greeted with Asra and his cooking. You quietly snuck up behind him and wrapped your arms behind him, startling him a bit.

"Good morning, handsome~" You cooed in his ear nuzzling into his neck.

"Good morning, sleepy head." He responded pecking the side of your head.

"Smells delicious!" You sniffed the fresh food he made.

"It's ready!" Asra smiled as he placed the food down and set the table.

You both sat down and started to eat. Asra looked up at you and couldn't help but notice your saddened expression.

"... What's wrong, Y/n?" He asked.

"I've should have been the one that made breakfast... You've been gone for some time now and it's the least I could do... I'm sorry, Asra." You sighed looking down.

"What?! There's no need to apologize, silly! Plus I love cooking for you, Y/n!" He said smiling brightly.

You looked up at him smiling at you. You couldn't help but smile back. His smiles are contagious... You both resumed your meal and chat.

You had both finished your meal.

"That was delicious~ Thank you, Asra!" You said.

"Don't mention it! I would have made more but it seems like we're running low on food..." Asra responded.

"Oh no..." You mumbled sinking into your chair. "I was going to go to the market yesterday but I was just too busy."

"Well, why don't we just go today?" Asra suggested.

"Good idea!" You said.

You both got ready for the day. With a basket in hand you both walked to the market.

After picking up some food from the market you both headed back to the shop to drop it off. It's been a while since you've seen each other so you both decided to spend the whole day together walking around Vesuvia.

The two of you were hanging out in the shopping district over by the railing, gazing into the shimmering water canal. You felt a hand grab your bottom out of nowhere.

"Oop!" You jumped a bit out of shock. "Asra, what was that f-" You turned noticing that it wasn't Asra.

There was a tall burly man standing there inching closer to you which made you feel very uncomfortable.

"Hey there, doll face~" He said.

You stated to tremble not knowing what to do. You looked over to notice two men blocking Asra off from getting to you. Asra looked more panicked than you did.

You felt a large hand forcefully grip your face and bring it up to meet the gaze of, the burly man.

"Get away from Y/n!!!" Asra yelled.

"If you want your little friend back then... Ah! You'll have to kiss me~" He said grinning ear to ear at you.

You felt your eyes start to well up with tears and felt as if you were having trouble breathing.

"I'm sorry I had to do this..." Asra growled glaring at the two men.

Asra never was the one to resort to violence but in this case, there was nothing else he could do. Asra quickly grabbed the men's hair by the scalp and knocked their heads together with enough force to knock them out.

"Huh?!" The burly man yelled looking over at the two men on the ground.

Out of nowhere, Asra came running at the man full force knocking him into the water canal.

"Quick, Y/n! Let's go!" Asra commanded, taking your hand running off with you.

After nonstop sprinting you both made it to your shop, barged in, and locked the door behind you. After catching your breath you looked up at Asra.

"Asra I-" You got cut off by Asra jumping at you giving you an extremely tight hug.

"Y-y/n I-I'm *sniff* so sorry! If I had been *sniff* watching you b-better none of this would of *sniff* happened...!" Asra shakily said as tears streamed down his cheeks.

"Asra..." You mumbled trying to keep tears back at the sight of Asra crying.

You had walked Asra over to the couch and sat with his arms still wrapped around you.

Eventually, his grip loosened and you pulled away slowly. You held his face in your hands wiping his tears away.

"Y/n I'm s-" Asra got cut off by your lips pressing against his.

"I'm alright, Asra. See?" You pull away letting him check you to see if you were harmed in any way. Which you weren't.

"I know but-" You cut Asra off once again.

"You saved me out there, Asra!" You leaned in closer to his face. "Thank you..." You said before he could say anything and pressed your lips on his once more. You both started to kiss slowly but as time went on it got more passionate. As soon as pulled away for air you felt a hand at your waist pulling you up on to Asra's lap. You were now straddling him. You looked at Asra, shocked, but he just looked at you with a smirk on his face. Before you could say anything he pulled your head towards him and continued kissing you even more passionately than before.

"Mmph... A-Asra..." You mumbled in between breaths.

"Mmm...?" Asra pulled away, lips still almost pressed against yours."

"I love you..." You said gazing sweetly into his eyes.

"I love you too, Y/n~" He responded, playfully pinning you down, kissing all over your face and neck.

Once he found your soft spot you couldn't help but mewl which drove Asra crazy, in a good way.

Later on, you both fell asleep on the couch in each other's safe embrace.
