"We're here," Jungkook stated as he pulled into a free space in front of the bakery. "By the way, Tae, Jin hyung's pastries are to die for. I'll show you my favorites."

Taehyung nodded a small smile gracing his lips, "okay."

All three of them walked into the building, Jimin clinging to Taehyung's right arm smiling brightly as they walked. "I wonder if Lisa is working today, she always has some good stories with her and her girlfriend."

"Lisa? Who is that?" Taehyung questioned throwing a side glance to both males on either side of him.

The male wrapped around his arm chuckled, "she someone Jin hyung hired about two years back, a great person to talk to. She is about Kook's age a little older actually, right kook?"

The youngest nodded, "by six months"

"Of course you'd know, what did you ask to make sure she couldn't call you oppa?" Jimin laughed as they pushed the doors open, and entered.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, "no actually, she asked me. I had nothing to do with it, she wanted to know because she wanted someone to call her noona. Don't ask me why."

"Kook, Jimin it's nice to see you again!" A cheerful female voice rang through the shop as they fully entered. Taehyung guessed that it was Lisa, the girl was thin with long dirty blonde hair tied up in a high ponytail. She had pretty eyes and a soft looking face, along with one of the brightest smiles Taehyung had seen. (Other then Hoseok's of course)

Jimin got off Taehyung, he held onto the youngers wrist gently and skipped over to the counter happily. "Hi Lisa, this is Taehyung."

"Hi," said male waved awkwardly, a same small smile on his face. "Nice to meet you."

Lisa waved happily, her smile at her eyes, "Nice to meet you too Taehyung."

Jimin wrapped an arm around the younger male, "well Lisa, any gossip for me today?" He questioned as Jungkook made his way over to them to stand next to Taehyung.

Lisa and Jimin talked on and on about people Taehyung had no idea about. So he looked down at his hands to distract himself from the conversations when he felt a hand not Jimins run along his arm. He quickly looked up to see Jungkook smiling at him, "do you wanna go for a walk? Jin hyung is down at the station apparently, and these two could talk forever."

Taehyung glanced over to Jimin who was now leaning over the counter immersed in the conversation, then back at Jungkook. "..yeah" he nodded, a small smile pulling at the corners of his mouth. "If that's not too much, I mean if yo-"

"No it's all good, I asked you and I really don't want to listen to gossip girls over there." He chuckled, shrugging gently.

Taehyung did the same and smiled brighter, "okay," he agreed fully. Jungkook smiled back and quickly told Jimin and Lisa what they were doing and to text him when Jin gets there. Then the two left.

"There's a quiet little park over there, it can get pretty crowded but I know a path nobody really goes down. If you want quiet that is." Jungkook stated pointing down the street. Lots of cars sped down the streets and noise filled Taehyungs ears, being in rooms with only a couple people all his life, he never got used to crowds.

He nodded, "quiet is good."

So that's where they ended up, peacefully strolling down the walkways of the park. They walked side by side not really talking much, but the silence wasn't awkward or uncomfortable, rather it was welcoming and reassuring to Taehyung.

But even silence can become boring so Taehyung decided to start up a conversation, "Hey Kookie..." Taehyung murmured, he wanted to get to re-know the younger. The years apart so much could've happened and he wanted to be caught up, the talk in the hospital and with the others during the movie helped but he felt one on one would be better.

"Yeah?" Jungkook responded softly, keeping the peaceful aura to their walk.

"I never asked, how are your parents?" He asked, kicking at the pebbles near his feet softly.

The younger stopped for a second before a warm smile grazed over his lips. He shrugged, "they're doing fine, missed seeing you for the longest time. I bet they'd be delighted if we visited at some point." He laughed, imagining the expressions on their faces at seeing their sons best friend and childhood crush back in their living room.

Taehyung smiled, "really? Then we should do that soon, I miss seeing them too."

Both continued to talk about Jungkook's life during the years Taehyung was away. They laughed and felt sad and the moments passed by quickly. When Taehyung suddenly had a thought, his dream kind of coming back to him. At the sight of a bench he gently pulled the younger over to it and sat down, he turned to fully face the younger.

"I hate to ruin the moment again... but I have to ask..." Taehyung started his voice wavering slightly, he didn't really want to think about them. But they were his parents and he just had to know how they were. "...my parents... do you know how they are?"

For a millisecond Jungkook was shocked, Taehyung was worried about the people who ruined his life? The people who sold him to creepy old men as a sex slave abandoned their child for extra money. Didn't worry even for a second about his well being. Taehyung was worried about them?
Of course, he was, he's an angel...

Jungkook sighed, "I don't know too much, all I know is after our hyungs and I went to ask where you were. They left, they told us you were with distant family and then vanished..." the younger watched Taehyung's reaction carefully, he wasn't sure how he would take the information. He prepared himself to hug the male, or for him to lash out angrily. But he didn't.

"...oh," was all he murmured, he head fell down to stare at the polished wood of the bench below them. His hands were shaking slightly, but he didn't do anything. Jungkook went to place a comforting hand on his back. A few seconds go by and Taehyung looks up, "thank you again... for saving me..." his voice deep but quiet. "I'd be dead if it weren't for you..."

"I'll save you from anything..." the younger stated back staring deeply into Taehyung's eyes, "over and over if I have to."

Their bodies molded together easily, in a safe and warm embrace. Arms wrapped gently around each other, faces buried in each other's necks. They stayed hugging for longer then they thought, but they would've stayed there forever if they had the chance. Never leaving each other's sides.

But all good moments must end, and the beeping of Jungkook's phone proved just that as they moved apart. And Jungkook checked his messages, "Jin hyungs at the bakery," he whispered, "I guess we should head back now."

"Yeah.."
