"You've got beautiful hair," the woman styling Taehyungs hair gushed, "so soft, what products do you use?" She was quite talkative, started up a conversation as soon as Tae sat down.

She brushed at his hair gently and glanced at him through the mirror in front of him. "I don't really know Kookie bought them, he never really said what... I just use them." He shrugged.

Hyuna, the stylist, smiled brightly, "ah, is 'kookie' your boyfriend?"

A bright blush formed on his face, his eyes widened a fraction, "N-no! He is j-just my best friend. I-i'm staying at his house."

"I see," she gave the boy a pointed look, then focused back to his hair, "how much hair do you want to be cut off?"

Taehyung sighed looking at the woman running her fingers through his hair, "I... don't know, would you accept 'surprise me' as an answer?"

"Only if there aren't gonna be tears afterward," Hyuna chuckled, "after a cut, we're dyeing it right?" Taehyung nodded, "alright, I'll make you look even more stunning, sound good?"

"Okay"

As Hyuna worked she told Taehyung all about her family, her husband Hyojung and her twin daughters. She talked on and on about them in the proudest tone, the way she talks made Taehyung feel happy. The fact that a woman he barely knew felt so confident in her family to tell a stranger about them, made him feel giddy.

"I came home one day and the girls were forcing Hyo to dress up as a princess for their tea party. I took so many pictures of him in that pink dress." She giggled cutting off the last bits of hair for the finished style, his hair wasn't much shorter but it made him look stronger. There wasn't as much hair covering his face or hiding his eyes, the curls at the ends were gone so it made his face look more masculine.

He smiled at his reflection, he liked that he didn't look like as tiny. He didn't look as weak.

Hyuna grinned at his reaction, "Do you like it?"

Taehyung nodded, "It's great, thank you noona." he reached his hand up and played gently with the strands, his eyes were wide in excitement.

"And what color are you dyeing it to, young Tae?" she asked, Taehyung grinned at her through the mirror and stated the color happily, he was squirming in his seat. "Blue it is then."

Jungkook and Hoseok were sitting patiently in the waiting area, well at least Hoseok was. Jungkook was anxious, he didn't like leaving Taehyung that much, worry coursed through his veins every time they weren't close in public. He was scared that the older would be gone, that he wouldn't be able to find him, that someone had taken him away again.

"Hey, don't worry Kook. Nothing can happen to him, we are right out here, if something were to happen we'd know and would be able to help. Hyuna is great, I trust her, you don't need to worry." Hoseok rubbed the younger's back reassuringly.

The younger looked up at him, "Yeah I'm just not used to it, I'm always worried that I'm never going to see him again."

Hoseok smiled, "That's how all of us feel, but I guess your crush makes it worse huh?" the older teased, a growing smirk worming its way on his face.

"C-crush? What? No! I don't!"

Hobi laughed, "You can't tell me that, I know you, kook, you've liked him since we were younger, you were never good at hiding it. Then again Tae has been blind to it too." he thought back to all the time Jungkook mindlessly followed Taehyung into anything when they were younger, to blinded with love and admiration for the other to think.

"Remember that time he convinced you to hide in the school overnight because he wanted to see if the teacher slept there or not. Your parents were worried sick and laughed when they found out where you guys were." Hoseok laughed, recalling the happy memory.

Jungkook smiled, "Yeah I was grounded for a week, but their scolding was nothing compared to Jin hyung's he yelled at us for at least ten minutes about how 'irresponsible' we were and how he trusted me not to do things like that." a chuckle left his lips after he took a long sip of his coffee, "Tae was disappointed to learn that teachers didn't live in the school."

The younger looked up at Hoseok with a large smile, "remember that time he tried to get Jimin to date a boy, even though he insisted he liked girls?" Hoseok snorted loudly at the memory.

"Yeah, Jimin was like, 'I'm not going to date Wonho, I like girls Tae.' and Taehyung gave him a look that I'll never forget then said, 'Jiminie, you cry if a girl touches you.' Jimin never did date Wonho did he?"

Jungkook shook his head, "No, he said that he was too intimidating for him."

"I mean I don't disagree, have you seen the man recently?" The two laughed loudly catching the attention of a few onlookers around the waiting area.
