Everyone was exasperated from the trip from the wreck to the shore. The shore itself wasn't too far from Lance's house but to go back and forth between them as a merperson was hard. Lance felt bad for Keith and his friends because they weren't used to swimming this much. The ocean shore was beautiful and the crew of the Voltron were grateful to be back. Lance was sad for some reason to see them go but Keith lived walking distance from the shore. Lance planned to visit him sometime.
"Thank you, really, I couldn't be more grateful that you were there," Keith acknowledged.
"Yeah, anytime!" Lance joked.
"Keith, by any chance could we stay at your house until we can find a way back to our own homes?" asked Allura.
"Of course I'm glad I have a ton of guest rooms," answered the mullet kid.
"Oh, by the way, I grabbed these for you so you wouldn't forget me or that you all almost died." The merman fished around in his pouch and pulled out a little golden rounded heart charm on a bracelet for Allura. For Shiro, he had an anchor charm on a gold string. He also grabbed a necklace that had a gold spatula for Hunk and for Pidge, a pendant with green glowing cracks. But for Keith, was the necklace Lance found with the seashell. They all said their thank you's and turned to go. Lance sighed as they all walked away telling each other how scared they were and holding onto their gifts.
"Visit soon!" he smiled.
"Of course!" Keith yelled back as Pidge nudged him.
