and again.

they couldn't take their eyes off of each other, it was love at first sight. sparks flying between them, a blush reaching their cheeks. whenever one moved, the other followed. like they were connected in some magical way. it was fascinating. two people that had never met before, had never talked to each other before, were now tethered together, strings of allure, magnetism and intrigue binding their bodies together. their hearts together.

he watched as her eyes grew shy, looking back down at her book only to come back up once again not a second later. how cute... he mused, slightly enthralled by her adorable actions. she wasn't just cute, she was beautiful, she was the epitome of beauty to him. her eyes tender and soft as they skimmed over the words on the pages of her book, her hands delicate and sweet as they caressed over her paperback novel, handling it with so much care, it was almost like her child.

he had never felt that way before, being so interested in a girl he'd never met before. so he just watched, watched as her eyes grew once more bashful, snapping straight down when she realised he was looking right back at her.

she too, had never felt that way, butterflies fluttering, not only in her stomach but in her poor mind too, the thoughts of unworldly beauty filling it to the brim. she had to calm down, suppress the spellbind. all of this, just by one glance. she couldn't even imagine talking to him. so she just watched, watched as he smirked from her timidness, then raise his coffee cup to his rose prime lips to take a sip.

they spent that whole day in the cafe, exchanging sneaky glances whenever they thought the other wasn't looking. she read her book and he looked outside through the window as the sky stopped weeping with tears of raindrops, a previous little drop in by the sun making a rainbow come in to view. the colors were so pretty as they coruscated through the window, beaming on his face. he smiled as he closed his eyes, relishing in the light. he barely went outside, often locked in his studio, his thoughts conflicting with his music, his music conflicting with his thoughts. he adored this, basked in the euphoric feeling of nirvana as his eyes caught the vivid hues of the arc even when they were closed.

when he opened his eyes, his mind calm and lips curled upright, he caught her staring at him, eyes blissed out by the rhapsodic view in front of her, mouth slightly parted, amazed at how heavenly he looked. she didn't mean to, but one glance led into a bit of a stare, and that bit of a stare led to her bewitchment. her bewitchment for that mesmerising boy with the pretty eyes and soft lips.

so for the first time in years, he blushed. his cheeks burned and filled with the most delightful tinge of pink. so pretty, so ethereal and perfect, she thought. She almost wanted to kiss the blooms away. he shied away from the attention, eyes darting from left and right, looking anywhere but here. and she did the same, growing embarrassed by the fact she got caught staring again.

they both glanced at each other from time to time, making sure not to stare, terrified they'd be caught in the act yet another time. neither paid attention to the world outside as it grew dark, illuminating blue skies turning into dusk. they only started to pack up their things when a worker, exhausted by the busy day, mumbled something about closing up time. they walked to the door and once outside, parted ways, her going left and him going right. they both sulked, sad that neither of them did anything to talk to each other, other than exchange a few glances.

little did they know, those few glances convinced both of them to come back, to see each other again, to appreciate the radiating beauty that seemed to be their faces.

little did they know, those few glances would lead to love. a love as hard, as fast and as uncontrollable as the rain. a love like the moon and the sun had for each other, both drowning themselves in the vast abyss of the sea, for the other to rise, gifting the earth with luminescence. again and again... and again.
