2. Same Old Same Old!

Hey! So, I was going to update last night..... But I started reading this book, yes a REAL PAPER book, and I got REALLY obsessed with it and.... Yeahhh. I finished all 370 something pages in a night. You should totally read it, it's called "Skin Deep" :3 and it's my absolute favourite at the moment :3 anyways, I honestly couldn't be bothered to update for like AGES so, sorry *sheepish smile* I hope you enjoy the chapter! Sorry if it's kinda pants, my day at school was rubbish. I had no lunch, at all. Stupid flipping long lunch lines! 😏 P.S: I know some of you don't ship Miraxus but, I wanted to add it in. -.-* so yeah :P

"Lucy?!"

"How did you get here?!"

"I thought you were-"

"You went to-"

Lucy let out a growl of frustration, silencing the group of curious boys.

"Mavis, what is this, 20 questions with Lucy?" She sighed. They hadn't changed one bit since she'd left, which caused a silent giggle to slip from her mouth.

"If you help me drag him," Lucy signalled toward the sleeping teen sprawled out on the ground.

"-Inside, then I'll explain everything."

Obeying Lucy's orders, the boys made a start at hauling Natsu's heavy form into the apartment complex whilst the five girls followed. Once they were through the door, Gray suddenly remembered something. He spun around, dropping Natsu's head so it hit the ground with a painful crack. Oh well, he'd survive. Hopefully.

"Wait?! Where exactly are we meant to be going?" He asked, not guilty in the slightest about what he'd done to his roommate.

"To the girls' flat!" Lucy replied nonchalantly, internally grinning as she watched the cogs spinning in the boys' heads.

They turned to each other, letting Natsu fall to the floor as an expression of confusion crossed their faces. It took them about a minute to add it all up and judging by the massive hug they gave Lucy, they were pleased to have her back.

"LUCY'S BACK! LUCY'S BACK!" They chanted, beckoning for the girls behind them to join. Although their hug was quickly rejected, this in no way affected their liveliness.

"You do know, this doesn't mean you get to barge into our flat to play Mario Kart on her console again," Levy stated, dead panning as they all stopped their chanting and stared at her.

"No... Mario Kart?" Jellal whispered, face dropping as faux tears leaked from his eyes.

Next to him, Laxus and Gajeel started trying to reason with Lucy, completely and utterly mortified at the fact that they might not get to play Mario Kart.

A lightbulb popped up in Lucy's mind as she smiled and said, "No Mario Kart until we get upstairs! Now help me or I'll bin the game and the console!"

Gray, Laxus, Jellal and Gajeel all entered a state of panic, making a mad dash over to Natsu. They each grabbed a floppy rag doll limb and rushed up the stairs, calling dibs on their favourite characters.

Erza and Juvia burst out laughing once they'd gone, whilst Levy and Mira linked arms with Lucy. After being apart for three years, they were more than excited to be together again - especially now that they were old enough to rent their own apartment! It'd be like a sleepover EVERY night! Plus, their apartment was right next door to the boys', which was a huge bonus for Mira. She was ready to put her long forgotten mission NaLu back into action.

"How long do you think it'll take them to realise you left the game's console at your dad's?" Erza asked as she pressed the button for the lift.

"I don't know, they're all pretty thick to be honest," the girls let out another bought of laughter.
