"Mr. Poe! Could you please explain what is going on here?" I asked. The children put their heads down, most likley in ashame of themselves.
"Well. These children must come with me at once. They are murderers, arsonists, kidnappers, and thieves!! And I have all the proof I need to prove it!" He pulled put a stack of newspapers.
"How can you believe the Daily Punctilio?" I heard Violet cry.
"Because it's the truth! You stole a sail boat at Lake Lachromos. You killed Dr.Orwell at the Lucky Smells lumber mill! You kidnapped the Quagmire twins! *Og Beatrice slightly smiled* You murdered Count Olaf in the Village of Fowl Devotees then broke out of jail! You burned down the Heimlich hospital! You shot Dewey Denumont with the harpoon gun! You burned down Hotel Denumont!" Mr. Poe's list went on for a whole 5 minutes.
It's all going according to plan, dont let the cops get them.
